Het huisje was heerlijk ruim, het zwembad is heerlijk en het ligt in een rustige omgeving. De ligging is perfect, je kunt precies naar alle bezienswaardigheden en restaurants vanaf hier. Omdat het aan de grote weg ligt ben je overal zo. Het personeel is zo vriendelijk, met name Evan, zo’n topservice niks was teveel en het ontbijt is heerlijk! Je ziet wel eens andere ontbijtjes bij accomodaties, maar deze is op en top verzorgd! We zijn in totaal 5 dagen gebleven, omdat er veel te zien is en te doen is.

Povlečení bylo sice voňavé, ale dost flekaté. V koupelně to trochu smrdělo.

The place looked amazing! The people who worked were really friendly and helpful! The breakfast was really good with few different options.

This complex of cosy rooms is the best you can choose in Nusa Penida. Located in the middle gives you the chance to decide on going to the east or to the side. The water of the swimming pool was warm, the rooms were smelling quite fresh, and the facilities were quite new. If that was not enough, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very very helpful. Evan supported us in booking transportation and solving other issues we encountered with our luggage. Thanks !

Great guys at the reception! If you are new to the place they happily give a brief overview of the tourist spots nearby. Amazing breakfast! Clean and comfy rooms! Perfect place to stay! 😊

Leider etwas laut, aber dafür gibt es gratis Ohrstöpsel.

Die Unterkunft sieht aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen. Avan ist ein super Gastgeber. Das Hotel liegt super, ein paar Schritte zum Meer und gute Restaurants sind in der Nachbarschaft. Einen Roller haben wir problemlos im voraus übe das Hotel gebucht. Taxiservice vom/zum Hafen empfehlen wir über das Hotel zu buchen.

Es gibt keine Kritikpunkte. Wer sich an bellenden Hunden und Hühnern stört, der sollte in der Großstadt Urlaub machen.

The staff are what sets La Roja Bungalows apart. Evan and Imam were absolutely wonderful and always greeted us by name and with a smile. Evan kindly helped us organise tours of Nusa Penida and gave advice on how best to spend our time there (we definitely should have booked longer!). The breakfast was delicious and the property is absolutely beautiful. The bungalows have lovely high ceilings and are quite spacious. The bathroom is clean and modern, with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and aircon cooled the room very well. The pool outside is shared, but with only 6 bungalows is quite quiet and you have a lot of space. I would definitely stay here again. There are several nice restaurants nearby - we tried Tropiz (which was right next door) and The Chill. We also saw a beach club called Cactus near The Chill that looked very nice, but we didn't have time to pay it a visit. Something for next time!

There was a strong smell coming from the drains in the toilet, which was otherwise very clean. It was our first time to Nusa Penida, so we didn't know what location was best to stay at. La Roja Bungalows is more on the eastern side and has another port closer to the hotel than the most popular one that the fast boats from Sanur go to, which I wish I knew earlier (obviously not the hotel's fault!). In the end, I preferred this side of Nusa Penida as it was a bit quieter, less touristy, and closer to the beautiful Atuh Beach and Diamond Beach (white sand!).

Had an amazing stay at La Roja Bungalows. The rooms were fantastic, and the pool area was great to relax. A short walk from local restaurants. Evan, Imam, and staff were fantastic! The first day we arrived, all of the atms were down so Evan kindly took me by scooter to get some cash out later in the day. They were both super helpful and accommodating with recommending local places to eat and helping us organise tours and transportation. Highly recommend staying here!

Rooms were very clean and the bed was also very comfortable to lay in. The breakfast variety was great, you could choose from a number of options and everything was super delicious! The pool was a great area to relax throughout the day and the common area was amazing to chat and play some cards with a few friends. The staff were amazing and for sure one of our highlights from our Nusa Penida trip. Imam was extremely nice and always there to help us with any suggestions, a simple greet and smile whenever he'd see us, help us change our bikes, or anything that we needed – he was there.

The bathroom doors are a bit heavy to open, and it'd close automatically so you would have to open it every single time you'd go in the bathroom. Didn't bother us much but was definitely something we realised. Besides that, everything else was great!

Right from the moment we entered , Imam was there to help us with our bags , with the amazing rosella tea. Room was sparkling clean with an amazing pool. Imam dropped me to the chill and even picked me back. So grateful to him for making our stay so relaxing. That too always with a smile.

Evan was amazing. So helpful and kind. He organised a driver for us to see all of the tourist attractions and was always on hand when needed. Bungalows were comfortable and beautiful decorated.

A wonderful place, the center of the island, a great starting point for both DiamondBeach and KeilingkingBeach. Very kind Evan who helped me and my husband with everything from renting a scooter to fastboat tickets and transportation to the port. The bungalow was clean and had everything you need, including a hair dryer. Tasty breakfasts. I hope we will come back here again.

Love everything about La Roja! Before our arrival Erna was just incredible. She helped us arrange our fast boat, port transfer ,manta ray snorkelling, scooter, and just pay once we arrived at the hotel. After arriving Evan was on site and was the nicest guy in the world. He had wonderful recommendations, went out of his way for us and never without a smile. The room was comfy and clean, location is perfect, across the road from the beach, just next door to the temple so you can witness firsthand some of the local ceremonies. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wow. What an amazing place. Best place I have stayed in whole of Asia. Thank you Evan for all your help decorating our bungalow for my girlfriend. We really loved our time at La Roja. Hopefully we can come and see you again.

Maybe there could be more breakfast options. But what they do have it really lovely.

Evan was a very nice host, making you feel at home at the island. The bungalows are centrally located on the island, within walking distance to the only restaurants/bars/beach clubs on the island (there are not a lot). They offer delicious breakfast. The main attractions of east and west are about 40 minutes by car/scooter. You can see them all in about a day if you are up for the challenge.

In general we liked the cleanliness, but bathroom sink could have been cleaner.

The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay excellent (even driving us to/from dinner). The room is large and comfortable, and there is a nice pool area. They were able to organize all transport and activities for us which was very appreciated.

There is a slight smell in the bathroom.
