The location is beautiful. You need a car if you plan to get around the Loire. The Manor is lovely and the bathrooms have been updated very well. The rooms are comfortable and stylish. Good breakfast. The place is clean. Good value for the price paid, I would recommend staying here.
For context, we are an international couple based in Paris who came to the Loire for a weekend stay.
I would suggest the owner engages with English-speaking guests a bit more.

We stayed at Manoir de la Fontaine Du Chene for 2 nights between campsites. It was a delight to stay in this authentic French house. Our kind host was very accommodating to our needs and recommended some excellent places to visit in the area. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable, exactly what we wanted. Thank you.

It was a classic 18th century Manor House
renovated by the owner, Eric. We had the two
large family rooms on the first floor. Breakfast
was excellent, classic French.
Limited garden space and outside furniture could
do with some TLC.

Very welcoming owners and we loved the casual atmosphere,there were tables outside to sit and we also had breakfast there outside but you have the option of inside also.There was a wonderful big breakfast room that had a kettle,microwave ,tea and coffee if we wanted,there was also a refrigerator that we could put things in if we needed.It really felt like home.A real bed and breakfast!It is a lovely rustic appearing Manor House that is in a quiet village near the Loire.The bedrooms and bathrooms have been beautifully restored keeping the old beauty of a manor house(walls beautiful,wood floors,gorgeous italien shower)We really enjoyed our stay,my friend said it was her favourite of our week long journey.

This is a great location with plenty of privacy and not far from the Loire River, long walks and nice restaurants nearby.

This is a lovely place, quiet and calm and run by a very nice proprietor. The house is full of character and our bedroom was like stepping back in time. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. A nice atmosphere and a beautiful environment.
