Regrese a casa, en el extremo norte del Gran Lago Sacandaga. Combinación perfecta de tranquilidad / reclusión con acceso a Saratoga Springs sólo 20 kilómetros de distancia. Been staying at this house since 2017 great time every single time we go. Lake is right there for you to enjoy. John is a great host there anytime you need to answer all your questions. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Can’t wait to go back!

This was our first time staying at the house and it exceeded our expectations. The house was gorgeous and there was plenty of space for our large family of 12. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds downstairs and the adults were all able to have their own rooms at night. We loved spending time on the large dock that sat in a nice quiet part of the lake that was just a short walk across the street. John was great to work with! He kept us updated with a hot water repair that were needed prior to our stay and was ready with a backup plan if the repairs weren’t completed by the time we got there (they were!). He was quick with responding to any questions that we had and helped coordinate a location for us to launch our jet skis nearby. We spent our entire week down by the water and enjoyed the large fire pit area at night. We lost power one night and were thankful for the backup generator which kicked in automatically. We have already started to discuss planning another family vacation here for next summer!

Perfect home for a family reunion of 12 people. Short walk to large dock on a lovely, quiet part of the lake. John the host, was always available to answer questions and we were thankful for the backup generator which automatically took over when a storm knocked out the electricity, allowing the fun to continue. Would love to go again!

The place is gorgeous. Unobstructed view of the water from the many large windows in the front of house. So big, yet such a cozy feel. John responded immediately for any questions I had. I rented with a couple of friends fto go to 2 concerts nearby. I'm definately going to renting it again with my family just to stay at the property and enjoy the peaceful home, the lake, boats and firepit. So much to do and so comfy,. Highly recommended! Thanks John!

This was our second stay here and it worked out great. Lot's of beds, great cabin feel, it was clean and didn't have any issues. The lake is beautiful and it's fairly close to a couple towns if you need to grab anything. Definitely recommended.

Great location with easy direct water access. Nice quiet location in cove. House is beautiful and immaculate. Views are spectacular. Home is well appointed and John was a terrific host.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It is well kept and very comfortable with A/C. Close enough for nice day trips to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. We brought our own kayaks, swam, used the fire pit and had nice family game nights around the large dining room table. We would gladly stay here again. We had a great stay at this cabin. It is well kept and very comfortable with A/C. Close enough for nice day trips to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Beautiful spacious clean house
Breath taking view of lake each morning. Enjoyed fireplace and or fire pit by lake each night. Just breath taking time of year for walks, trails, and parks. The fall colors were vibrant. Excellent place for peace and quiet. The views are just absolutely beautiful and serene Owner very accommodating and helpful.. Thanks to John we were able to get the fireplace going.

From the house, you are within an hour of Saratoga Springs and St. George, which we visited both of throughout the week. The owner checked in with us about half way through the stay to make sure everything was going well. Finally, I'd like to point out that this property has a backup generator, which was used during our stay as a storm swept through the area. It worked great and allowed us to continue our board game without having to sit in the dark, so that was a huge bonus. Overall, I don't think we could have asked for much else.

Perfect family getaway
John's place was large, clean and came with everything we needed for a great family vacation. We had easy water access right across the street with a few kayaks for getting out on the water. John was really responsive when we needed help. Great stay!

Great location and nice property for 3 families
Perfect spot for a short vacation. We were 3 families and with 2 kids and this was a great property to enjoy a time off. Only downside was the across the road setup of the lake / property, but that aside, a great experience. John is a fantastic host who was very communicative!

House was across street from lake, so not right on it, but just across street.

Beautiful Lakefront Property with a Gracious Host
My friends and I had an amazing time at this awesome lakefront house. It gives very cozy log cabin vibes but is actually quite spacious as well. Plenty of room for cooking, board games, or just sitting around the fire. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place to hang out and enjoy family time, kids had fun inside in the beautiful space, parents enjoyed the fire and making food, all had fun outside, exploring the lake shore in winter, and going to nearby west mountain ski resort for tubing and first time for 3 kids to try snow boarding and all enjoyed tubing there as well
