Cannot give anything here but 5*
Fantastic apartment in a beautiful complex. Pool was cleaned everyday and no issue with beds. Apartment literally home from home. Mercadona 3 mins walk away. The complex was so quite at night too. The balcony was great to take in the sun from about 11 for the rest of the day and lovely to sit out at night overlooking the pool.
Dean was a pleasure to deal with and the booking process was simple. Highly recommend

This is a beautiful apartment, the host was very quick in responding to any questions. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and maintained. It is in the centre of Puerto del Carmen but the complex was very quiet.
We had a great holiday and we were very happy with the accommodation the only point I would make is that there are quite a few stairs up to the apartment, the upside of this was that the views were fantastic.
I would certainly book again.

This is an excellent apartment in a quiet and beautifully situated complex. I have been staying regularly at Puerto Del Carmen for the last 12 years or so and this is the best place I have stayed yet. Yes, there are steps, but I have never stayed anywhere at PDC where there isn’t a climb, as this isn’t Benidorm. The apartment was is well-appointed, the communication from Dean, the property manager, was first-rate and the complex, with some permanent residents, is a delight. Can’t recommend it too highly!

The apartment (B17) is a decent size and the balcony has a nice view once you get up there. There are 100 steps up to the apartment from the main strip. The description of the property is not current as there are a number of issues that need to be sorted out and it's looking somewhat tired in places. The kitchen blind is broken- this may sound trivial but the hot sun beats into the apartment from early morning. The bottom shelf in the fridge is broken which means if you want a chilled glass of wine then remember to buy a screw top bottle as it won't fit upright in the door. The patio furniture and sunloungers need to be replaced - they are stained, cracked and very unappealing and spoil an otherwise nice area. The cupboard in the second bedroom is permanently locked and the bed is right up against it so storage in that room is limited to a chest of drawers. All in all, we've stayed in much nicer apartments and wouldn't return here but if a little bit of money was spent on it then that would make a difference to the comfort of the stay. The number of steps up are a big drawback, particularly in the heat and with shopping.

Perfect location close to the shops/restaurants & beach
The apartment was clean. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen is well equipped for self catering.
The beds are very comfortable & linen/towels changed once a week.
Lovely balcony with lovely views of the pool & sea. The loungers are not as shown on the photos (no lounger cushions) & although the chairs had cushions to sit on, there was only one with a cushion for the back so not very comfy.
The apartment is alarmed & secure with a safe. Instructions were easy to follow, although you need to touch any button on the control panel to wake it up before entering the code which we were not aware of.
The swimming pool was lovely. 2 showers & toilets available. Well maintained & clean. Plenty of room & very quiet. A lot of the plastic loungers had splits in the slats so could do with being replaced.
It’s been mentioned in other reviews that there are lots of steps. There are about 80 steps to the apartment. Not a problem for us but could be for some.
The complex has a lot of permanent residents which we didn’t realise. It wasn’t a problem but visitors need to be respectful of this.
No air con but being on the top floor allowed us to open the windows at night. Air con would be a good idea & I would be happy to pay extra for it.
Communication with Dean was excellent.

Cons:
Apartment bedrooms get very warm and with no aircon must be unbearable in peak summer. Bedrooms and kitchen are overlooked directly by apartments opposite so window blinds would give some privacy other than having to close the black out curtains . Water pressure in shower and sink not good. Internet TV not great as didn’t appear to be enough bandwidth to work properly .
We would not hesitate to book this apartment again as it really is a nice place to stay and we had a fantastic time .

The apartment is lovely there's everything you need, the balcony area is spacious with table and chairs and 2 comfortable sun loungers. It's so close to all the bars and restaurants so no need for walking. Be aware there's a lot of steps as it's on the top floor, no problems for us but maybe difficult if elderly.

Peaceful & great TV
Positives - blissfully quiet, clean & great TV/film package.
Negatives - no extras provided except one toilet roll & lack of privacy at bedroom & lounge windows was an issue due to being overlooked by apts opposite.

Very nice two bed apt. Wasnt ideal for us as we took my 83 year old mother who loved it there but not the amount of steps up to it

Well equipped apartment
Good location near bars and new town, a short walk to the old town, despite being near bars the apartment was totally quiet. Being on the top floor was great as not overlooked and had privacy. Balcony with loungers and chairs was excellent to sit on especially in the afternoon as was in the sun
The apartment was very clean and beds so comfy.
Decent WiFi and the TV setup was the best we’d every stayed in there were recent films to stream. We hired a car to explore the island and had no problem parking it by the back gate of apartment block

Lovely clean, bright and airy apartment
Apartment is situated in a prime position for accessing both the old town and the strip. With the beach, restaurants and bars on your doorstep what’s not to like. I was amazed at how quiet the complex was due to its position. Would recommend it to others.

Sky tv and video club facility excellent. WiFi never let us down at all. We were fine with the steps up to the apartment but you need to be aware they are there. Location brilliant and no noise.
If we come back to puerto del Carmen we would book again.

Well worth the wait superb
We tried to book this appartment earlier as it looked superb but it was booked up so we delayed our holiday until it was available it was worth the wait.what you see is what you get ,fantastic position /superb quality /spotless /great balcony.will certainly return & recomend

Outstanding holiday apartment
This is the 2nd time me and my wife have stayed at this apartment and it is a fabulous place to stay.It is that good we have already booked for next year ! It is a impeccably kept with all mod cons in a beautiful spot within Puerto del Carmen.

Outstanding apartment
Stayed in this beautiful apartment for two weeks. Everything was first class. Immaculately clean and very well equipped, with great sized balcony with beautiful sea and mountain views.
Great central location close to all the amenities, restaurants and new Lidl only 10 minute walk away.
The only down side we felt was the lack of sunloungers around the pool and the fact people were reserving them from very early in the morning.
Would definately return. Thankyou for a perfect stay.

Superb Apartment
We had a great week in this apartment. Everything you could wish for and more.
Very clean and modern Wi Fi, plasma tv etc. The location is great with all the bars and restaurants on the 'strip' right on the door step, and close to the beautiful old town with its fantastic fish restaurants.
The pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds when we stayed.
With the beach just across the road from the property.
There is a very large patio with plenty of room for sun bathing or dining, with
sunshine from mid morning until sunset.
All in all a perfect spot.

Perfect stay
We had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect for us as you have everything you need from the pool to the beach, bars and laid back old town harbour right on your door step! Not to mention some lovely shops! The apartment itself was absolutely spotless and there is a huge terrace with sea views perfect for a g&t whilst catching the evening sun! Dreaming of returning very soon!

The listing description is very accurate in all respects . Immaculate and well equipped.

Have already recommended to friends (once we had booked our dates for next year ! ) . In 15 years of visiting Puerto Del Carmen this property is best yet . The large balcony for sunbathing and the extensive English TV channels were an added bonus to this lovely apartment .

Pre-Christmas fun in the sun!
We booked this apartment last minute to get away from the bad weather at home. What a great decision! It is right on the Promenade in the best possible position in Puerto del Carmen close to both the Old Town and the Beach Front and yet it is really quiet. It is brand new inside, very spacious for a two bed, superbly clean and has absolutely everything that you could need. The balcony is huge, meaning that you have a dining table and two sun beds to enjoy the amazing view. We had a brilliant time and will definitely return.

Fantastic location Fantastic apartment
This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment, and we feel that we have found a little gem. The location is fabulous, just a minute from the beach. The apartment is immaculate and furnished to a high standard. The balcony is large and a great sun trap for late afternoon sunshine. We cannot fault this apartment at all, and want to return at least once a year now. Sovereign Property Management who run this for the owners are great. This is by far the best apartment we have stayed in. I think it is a nice gesture that the owners have beach towels available to use. The apartment comes very highly recommended.

Fantastic location Fantastic apartment
This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment (first time was Nov 14) and we feel that we have found a little gem. The location is ideal, straight over the road from the beach and minutes from restaurants. The apartment itself is immacuately presented with lovely furnishings. The balcony is a great sun trap for late afternoon. The property is very welll managed by Dean and Gill (Sovereign Properties) who were very helpful when we had a lot of rain in our November stay. We hope to use this apartment at least once a year as it really is a great place to stay.

Perfect apartment
Great apartment! Clean, airy and well fitted out. Balcony looking onto pool and with view to the sea and sunsets. Morning sun comes into the bedrooms. The location is really useful straight out and across the road to the beach. Taxi rank just outside also and two mercado within 30 secs walk. Although its rights on the strip its really quiet with no music keeping you up.
We loved it and would love to come back. Wish we were there now.

Stunning Apartment, fantastic location!
We have stayed in a number of apartments in Peurto del Carmen and this was by far the best. It may have been £20 or so dearer but my goodness, was it worth it! It has been completely refurbished and feels like a boutique hotel when you walk in, the towels are arranged beautifully on the beds and there are even toiletries in the bathroom. it has everything you could ask for, washing machine, coffee maker, fridge, safe etc. The TV has all the Sky channels and even free movies! The WI-Fi was really useful. The balcony is HUGE, with table and chairs plus 2 sun beds and umbrella, all in lovely rattan with lovely pool, sea and mountain views. Dean and Gillian, who manage the apartment were fantastic, from booking the apartment at the start to being on hand with any queries when we were there - thank you! We love Peurto del Carmen and have been many times but this apartment is in the perfect spot. It's lovely and quiet but close to all the bars, restaurants and shops. We will be back!

The best apartment we've ever stayed in!
We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in apartment B17 at Caleton Blanco. The apartment has been totally refurbished to an extremely high standard and had everything you could wish for including WIFI, Internet, washing machine, full TV inc BBC and SKY, inc sports etc. The beds were brand new with really comfy mattresses. the balcony was huge with rattan furniture and sun loungers and a stunning view of the sea and mountains. The position is perfect, a few steps from the beach, all the shops and restaurants you could wish for on the door step! Lovely and quiet at night as its set back just far enough from the Promenade, a real home from home. We will be back!
