Cozy home, very clean and good amenities. Would definitely stay again. Very happy overall.

This property looks great in photos, but it does not look great in person. The view is incredible and beautiful, but that’s honestly all it has. It was advertised to accommodate 10 guests sleeping, but those 10 guests could not eat together at a dining table for 4. Our family that stayed there was only 4 people, but we then had our in-laws over for dinner one night. The kitchen could only accommodate 2-3 people max cooking and prepping only, and my in-laws had to bring over more pots, pans and rice cookers in order for us to have dinner. We ate outside on the deck, but only 6 could fit at that table….. The kitchen was not sufficiently stocked for more than 4 to 6 people, if you wanted to stay in and cook meals. It said it had AC, but that was only in one bedroom, every other bedroom had fans. The main floor AC didn’t have the exhaust set-up to go outside, so it really did nothing on that main level to cool. The first two nights were pretty hot, but at least by night three we got a little cooler outside, so that helped. It did have 3 bathrooms, but only the bathroom upstairs offered a tub/shower. The main level was only a tub, and the basement bathroom was only a very tiny shower. My family travels all over the country, so I’m used to hosts that go above and beyond for their guests. This property falls short on so many levels. I would not stay here again or recommend it to my friends or family, especially if you have wheelchairs or disabilities of any kind.

I visited Seattle WA for the memorial day weekend spent 5 days at the Rainer house. The house online looks like it's it very good condition but once we arrived the house wasn't clean. The house also was very musty and moldy. Of the 4 people that stayed 4 of us developed respiratory illnesses. The green mold on the deck, chairs and lounger make the deck unusable and the main reason for choosing the house was the view. We also arrived to find the grass in the front and back yard to be a foot tall, someone came unannounced and cut it leaving grass covering the front porch and drive way.
This was out first time visiting the pnw and luckily we were able to spend most of the trip outside of the house and only used it for showering and sleeping. I hate leaving crappy reviews for anything but honestly it's just unfortunate we spent over $2000 on the place and would have rather stayed at a hotel. If the owners out the work in on the home it would be an amazing spot because the neighborhood and view is worth staying there.

The description and huge owner's fee (not to be confused with the reasonable per night fee) lead us to believe that our family of 12 would be comfortable in this unit. It said it slept 12 (and it would have except the three air mattresses were unable to stay inflated). We were able to manage with the sectional couch and an air mattress on loan from a local friend - BUT there were no extra sheets (not even enough for the "listed" air mattresses) and a shortage of towels. The owners dropped off more sheets and towels late one night and said they would come to fix our other concerns (broken dining room chair, broken deck table, and more), but were unable to come at a time that would work for them and us. The real kicker was that it was listed as air conditioned. One small unit in the uppermost level worked, but a unit on the main level would not cool - only the fan was working. There were two fans on the top level, by far the hottest level. That was it! - and our stay happened to coincide with the 112 degrees snap that hit Seattle at the end of June. We were miserable!!! Had we not already paid an "owner's fee" and an extra guest fee (even though our 8+4 guest count equaled the 12 that it advertised!!) we would have considered getting motel rooms (which as it worked out were sold out anyway). No screens on the windows, but we slept (poorly) with them wide open along with the doors (a little scary in an urban area) just to try to get some air moving on the main level where my husband and I slept on the sectional. The lowest level had slight coolness because of its lack of direct sun but zero air movement.
What the rental did have going for it was a lovely view of the city from the deck and a bathroom on each level of the house.

Average
The house was not clean when we checked in. Linens and furniture were packed into the cupboards in the bedrooms not giving us much space. The downstairs TV is old and does not work. There was no gas in the bbq. The outside smoking containers were full of cigarette buds. The oven was dirty. The dishwasher did not work properly. The panty was full of dry goods that were either expired or needed to be moved to allow for space for us. The wifi in the house is very slow. The views in the morning are exceptional however. Overall the stay was very average and was overpriced for what we received.

I had a great vacation!! House was comfy for me and 4 kids.
Owner was very nice abd responded quickly. Easy to work with and house had everything we needed. Loved the neighborhood and we felt safe and comfortable. Very spacious and clean. Well heated. We greatly enjoyed and will be returning soon.

This home worked well for our needs, and the view is spectacular! A few things to note though: 1) the wood floors are extremely slippery, dangerously so, unless in shoes or bare feet, but even then we slipped and slid all over. 2) the bathroom rugs were dirty. 3) the railing down to the basement isn’t attached properly and is quite loose. 4) the basement floor is really uneven, to the point where it’s easy to lose your footing. 5) the dishwasher isn’t anchored into the wall, so can pull out when trying to open it. 6) there are a lot of small things that are damaged or just feel unfinished (around the upstairs sink, couch is broken, door to one bedroom is cracked, wall damage due to doorknobs, etc.). We felt safe there, and the price is affordable, but it is definitely funky and could use some TLC.

WE WERE ROBBED 3 hours upon arrival at this VRBO house. We had jewelry, an engagement ring, laptops and other items stolen from this house. The front door was locked when we arrived 3 hours later and the basement sliding door was wide open. The conditions of the house and the lawn were appalling. The living room couch was broken and caved in. The house smelled like smoke and marijuana. The first bedroom upstairs on the right is literally off the stairway. The opening of the door steps onto the stairs. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets didn't looked washed. All the rooms in this house looked like they were not properly cleaned, as we saw food crumbs and dust everywhere. The grill on the back deck still had fish bits from the previous stay and the grates weren’t cleaned. This house is in very poor condition. We do not advise renting this house for ALL the reasons above.

NIce house with a few repairs needed
The house was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Wish there was a few things that were more clear, and a few minor, yet important, repairs that are needed.
The deck railing is loose. When you are new to the property it's a safety concern as most people lean on a deck railing at some point or another.
Few other small issues included:
The face of the silverware drawing is broken and nearly fell off every time we pulled it open.
The upstairs shower handle is loose which lead us to believe the water temperature control was broken. We did finally figure out how to adjust the temperature with the loose handle.
And lastly, the "Sofa Bed" listed on the description is not worth sleeping on. The couch was more comfortable by far. It was really nice to find a few inflatable mattresses in the closet.
I'm not unhappy with the house, or our stay, but feel these should be fixed.

Good view, hygiene could be better.
The view was very beautiful. Also nice patio.
But I would give 3 ⭐ to hygiene, especially the bathroom....lots of ants. There wasn't enough toilet paper.

That view is everything
3 very good sized bedrooms up stairs but the view from the master is a million dollar view for sure. You’re going to need a rental car if you plan on seeing Seattle from here but it’s a gorgeous drive and I highly recommend it

Dangerous
Stairs in this house are non conforming , my son fell coming down, I tripped over the landing and my daughter in law stubbed her toes twice going up. Back yard view was awesome though...back yard itself trashy...fence falling down..could not enjoy the lower deck due to green mold everywhere.....entire house had a moldy smell to it...especially the furniture.....a lot of the electrical outlets were not installed properly....

Perfect location
Just finished our stay and it was perfect. The house is located about 15-20 from downtown and airport and has a gorgeous view of the water and downtown. The house was comfortable and met all our needs with no complaints. Great option for a stay in Seattle!

Great view!
The property manager Eza was very responsive. He had the broken kitchen faucet replaced the first day we were there. We had 8 adults and 3 bathrooms came in handy - although only having 2 showers slowed morning deparures. The overall condition of the house was satisfactory, furnishings are basic and cleanliness was “OK”. The location was fantastic for us - grocery, airport and Interstate were easy access. The Feb weather prevented us from taking advantage of the deck and great view. We explored the Seattle Market, Space Needle, Boeing History of Flight museum and took the Underground tour...recommend all!

Beautiful view. Less room than expected.
Great view from kitchen, dining room and deck. Three bedrooms upstairs with double beds...one bathroom with shower. Bathroom with jetted tub on main floor...no shower. Bedroom downstairs with king bed...a big room. Foldout couch in downstairs "family room" sleeps one. Had to go through downstairs bedroom to use bathroom...has a shower. Still not sure where the remaining three beds were...blowup double bed and living room couch? We could have used more blankets...downstairs was freezing cold. Couldn't find any way to heat the downstairs. Upstairs was hot. Main floor was cramped for 9 of us. Picture makes it look bigger than it really is. It's a pretty house. Just not as much space as expected.

Absolutely amazing views.
The house was perfect for a large family that needs some extra personal space after sight seeing all day together. Beds were great and we had plenty of home needs to be comfortable every day. We'll definately stay here again for our next visit. House is close to anything you want to do.

Great View and beautiful home
We've stayed here for a couple weeks. It was fantastic. I read some of the reviews and was concerned but we loved the house. It was clean, big, slept all our people and the manager/owner was super to work with.
This is our first choice when we're in town working out of our Kent office.

Great stay with friends
My buddies, and I, enjoyed our stay in Seattle. We were in town for the Packer/Seahawk game, but were able to experience so much more. The main floor living area and outdoor deck allowed us the space to relax during the downtime, while the VRBO home provided each of us our own individual space as well. As an aside, Eza was very accommodating with check-in in conjunction with our flight times.
