The house is very clean and filled with full of artworks. The owner is very supportive and kind, and also a wonderful and talented artist. He also kindly drew my portrait, and it was a very memorable gift. I genuinly enjoyed staying this place. Thank you very much!

Very nice room with comfortable bed and bathroom incl. shower linked to room. Very nice old townhouse in the middle of a jewish community with very good food offers around the corner. Host is very nice and an excellent artist. Interesting stories guaranteed. We could use the kitchen and the shared living room. Very close to subway station and not far from Prospect Park.

Boris gave us very good advice on where to go to eat, what to look out for in the neighbourhood, and how to easily get around in New York. Very nice.

My friend and I stayed with Boris for a couple of nights and it was a top-notch stay, especially for the price. The place was clean and the host (Boris) was really nice and helpful. The experience was unique and getting the portraits drawn was a good time. The area was a family neighborhood with lots of great local shops, a nearby market, and excellent food.

I had no personal problems with the place, but I'll not for others that it was in a quieter area (i.e., no nightlife directly outside of the place), which was ideal for me but obviously not for everyone. It was a short train ride to Flatbush or to lower Manhattan, so not a big deal, if that's something you care about.

The property is in a quiet location in a residential area of Brooklyn, there are good shopping options for basic necessities nearby, and the subway station is about a 10-minute walk away.

We were very disappointed with the approach of the accommodation provider, Mr Boris. Even though we arrived as quickly as possible, he was very unkind to us and blamed us for missing some kind of meeting because of us. It all came to a head at the end of our stay when our departure date was changed to a later time, and I asked Mr Boris by text message if it would be possible to leave our luggage in his hallway. After a few hours, he replied that checking time was at 11am, and he was charging a $30 fee per checked bag. That's a total of $90. I have to say that although I travel quite a lot, this really hasn't happened to me yet. Mr. Boris returned $110 of my $200 deposit and slammed the door behind us. I don't know what we did to him, but if he treats other clients this way, I don't think he will do well. I understand that staying with him is a bargain, but a little bit of decorum would have improved the overall impression considerably.

Perfect host. The host cared about every little thing. They also recommended nearby restaurants and recommended a route map of the subway.

Boris was fantastic! He texted/called me a few days before our stay to let me know how to access the apartment, room, etc. which was very nice and helpful. He also checked in throughout our stay via text to make sure everything was going well. The stay was very nice. tThe home is in a quiet residential area. The room is large and spacious. There is tons of space in the kitchen and living area also. It was the perfect place to stay after walking around busy areas all day. The subway isn’t too far away either so the place is pretty accessible by subway.

No complaints, honestly. We loved our stay and would stay again.

The host was super nice and helpful. Provided us with good information for navigating the city and was attentive about needs.

First i was surprised that's not a good room for your privacy but later i found it was a good experience,, his clients was classy and he was so friendly with the guest and don't forget to get your drawing picture for free.

We were able to spend valuable, precious time in this house. Everything was good. Clean rooms and it’s located in safety area. Especially, Boris is good men! He’s so kind. His smile and good personality makes us relax and happy. And he gave us our face picture who draw by portraits, it was so awesome! It’s not enough to 10pt reviews. We want to give you 100pt! lol Thank you for a great time. I want to stay this house again when we go NY.

Very friendly and knowledgable owner, inspirational conversations and artwork, options to arrange own food and cooking, brilliant internet, good bathroom and not to noisy Lovely neighborhood and pretty safe. Good connections to downtown and uptown Manhattan. Parks in walking distance as well as shopping opportunities.

Finding the place us a bit tricky and the public transport connection from JFK airport requires a few changes of trains. That can be tricky to navigate but people if asked are very helpful. It certainly is a challenge if you have heavy luggage - taxi is however 5-6 times the price. Commuting back and forth to Manhattan if you have business there needs to be factored in with ca 50-55 min

Extra special is that Boris/owner (who is also a professional artist) generously took the time to sketch our portraits on an iPad and gave us the resulting photos/video

Beautiful room in a great apartment. The neighborhood is historic, many nice cafes, restaurants etc and a nice local feeling Boris, the host, is a lovely guy - warm and easygoing, and great to see his art everywhere in the house

If you go to NY and considering to avoid typical hotel experience, Artist Delight is the perfect place to stay. It's located in a safe area, with few restaurants around, in walkable distance from the Sterling St. station, where the trains take you to Manhattan without need to change. Boris offers rooms in his appartment, they are clean, silent. On top, Boris is a real master of fine art, good person to chat. I will come back. Cheers from Boris/Prague.

Location was well-suited to our needs and Boris, our host, was interesting and friendly.

The room was really small and the common area, including a single bathroom, had a few too many people sharing time and space.

Deeply recommend! Very nice flat, clean and tidy. The bedroom is big enough for two people, with a big window and plugs in every wall. The common area is modern and full of portraits, a little art gallery and there are also all the services. And the last but not the least, there is Boris the owner, such a interesting and friendly man. You will feel yourself at home and it's been a pleasure to exchange thoughts and opinions with this artist. He is nice. The zone is good, no that far from the "Sterling" Subway Station, only 5 minutes by walk, with trains that reach Manhattan in 25 minutes. Otherwise there is the bus stop right behind the corner.

The neighbourhood is really peaceful and conveniently located, lots of families nearby and a 10 minute walk from two subway lines and a 5 minute walk to several bus stops. I recently moved to the city and felt very safe, as a single woman, when exploring the area and coming back later at night. There's a fantastic grocery store around the corner, with everything you need and walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The apartment is really quiet and has lots of natural light and the wifi was reliable when I was working remotely. Boris is really helpful with his knowledge of the city and neighbourhoods. If I had any questions or needed anything, he was easy to reach and responded quickly. His artwork in the apartment is really unique and I enjoyed seeing his studio and the work he's done over the years. He sketched a portrait of me as well, it was really well done and such a cool experience. This accommodation was really good value while I was looking for an apartment, the rooms are really nice and the shared lounge area is comfortable, but be aware that it's not as private as the rooms.

Our accommodation was very comfortable. The host Boris is very welcoming and hospitable. The area is nicely mixed with both Manhatten and the seaside relatively short subway journey away. Good eating and food shopping close by. Boris is very interesting to chat with, particularly about art.
