Desde esta Casita de 1,475 pies cuadrados, disfrutarás de vistas panorámicas de 360 grados: el lago Abiquiu, millas de mesas, colinas y los magníficos acantilados rojos que rodean el famoso Ghost Ranch. Al sur, verá la montaña de 10,000 pies conocida como El Pedernal, que Georgia O'Keefe hizo famosa en sus pinturas, junto con gran parte del paisaje cercano.
Nuestra Casita fue construida en 2008 y diseñada por un arquitecto local en un estilo suroeste pero moderno. Está completamente amueblado para su comodidad. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, incluida una estufa de gas Bosch con parrillas de gran calibre para aquellos que realmente aman cocinar.
Echa un vistazo al baño principal: puedes elegir entre una ducha de pizarra o una bañera profunda para calmar tu cuerpo después de una vigorizante caminata en las cercanas montañas de Jemez. Además de las 2 habitaciones, cada una con camas Queen, hay una cama inflable de colchón de aire de tamaño completo con bomba de cama de aire de alta capacidad incorporada y sábanas ajustables con falda de cama para usar en la gran sala con vista al lago.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, beautiful views, and unbelievable night sky's, look no further than this amazing home. The house has all the amenities you would need, and the communication with Larry, the owner, made the whole check-in and check-out process seamless. We absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again. Loved our stay!

This property was everything we hoped for and so much more! We had been looking at this home for a while now and finally decided to go for it. Best decision ever! The views were beyond incredible and the whole area is absoluteley breathtaking. The stars at night were unbelievable and I just can't say enough about how much we loved this place. We did not want to leave and plan to come back as soon as we can! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will remember this family vacation forever!

This is where you go to get away from it all. The peace and serenity are all encompassing. So are the views, from Ghost ranch to Cerro Pedernal. The house is clean and the kitchen has everything you could want. There are spectacular walking roads and trails straight from the house. Ghost ranch, Abiquiu, and the O’Keefe house (make reservations) are a few miles away. We will be back!

This is at least the fourth time I have stayed at Larry and Laurie's beautiful home and it never disappoints. If you're a photo buff this is the place to be. The light, the vistas......they're extraordinary. I can't recommend it enough.

I visited with my husband, sister and brother-in-law to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a fabulous few days enjoying the wonderful casita with its completely breathtaking views. We planned to go out for short days so that we could have long leisurely afternoons and evenings enjoying the porch, fire pit and scenery.
We had the perfect few days.

Truly beautiful house with spectacular views, that make you feel you have New Mexico all to yourself. Host is very communicative and helpful. Road to top of the mesa is bumpy and you must go slow, but is totally worth it once you arrive at the top. We feel very fortunate to have been able to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary here. I think my favorite part was drinking coffee by the fire pit during sun rise.

This is a fabulous property with incredible views. The interior of the house has everything you would need including views of the lake and mountains. I found myself walking around outside with my mouth ajar at the serenity, peacefulness and silence of the surroundings. I’m sure we will be back, just to stay there again.

We loved the house and the amazing views from it. The kitchen was well set up for cooking, which we did a lot, given the distance to a restaurant. We would not hesitate to return.

We loved our stay with views that will take your breath away! If you are looking for a rustic and remote location to just relax this is your place. While we were there we visited Ghost Ranch (which was suggested) but also stopped at the Echo Amphitheater which is a short drive from there. It was really cool! A quick stop but a fun one. We also went to the Puye Cliff Dwellings which was about an hour from the house. It was absolutely worth the drive! It was our favorite stop by far.
The communication was excellent, the home was cozy and welcoming. There were plenty of kitchen supplies from pots, pans, etc to basic condiments, salt, pepper, and so on. I always like to note that because I bring all those things just in case!
Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with our family. It's a trip we will never forget!

My two friends and I absolutely loved this place! So quiet, peaceful and beautiful! Spent our time just enjoying the solitude and views. The stars and moon were just amazing...felt like we were the only ones around for miles. A wonderful, relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend this special place!

This property is a high-end fortress of solitude with breathtaking views of Abuquiu Lake and the surrounding desert mountains. If you eventually satiate with just staring out the 180-degree view from the couch, Ghost Ranch and Monastery of Christ in the Desert are an hour away.
The owner is remote, but communication is exceptional and detailed , written instructions regarding accessing the remote site and operating household systems are clear and concise.
Expectations at this price point are fully met.
Access is via well-maintained gravel roads, but severe/extreme winter weather might tend to necessitate a 4-wd, high clearance vehicle -- maybe not.
Bring food and drink in with you: local amenities are sparse.
Highly recommend without hesitation.

Everything about our stay was amazing, from the communication with our hosts to the panoramic views of Pedernal and Ghost Ranch. The house was so well appointed with everything we could need; no detail was overlooked. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be booking this casita in the future! The location and setting is heavenly. The outdoor seating offers more than your eyes and heart can absorb. On a healing journey myself, this place was perfect. We hiked by the dam and it was amazing. We also went to Plaza Blanca and it was spectacular. Cafe Sierra Negra was the best eatery in the area. Hats off to this vrbo find!

Stunning views and peaceful, beautiful home
Our family of 5 spent our Spring Break at the Casita. The views were spectacular and the house was clean and well stocked. The owner had planned ahead for all the needs of the guests. The house is about 20 minutes away from the main road with excellent clear directions provided for the dirt road access. We enjoyed the outside fire place for making smores and deck for viewing stars with our telescope. The views are 360 degrees from the living room and kitchen with the sunrise and sunsets most enjoyable. We brought all our own food with amazing views from the kitchen to meal prep. Highly recommend for anyone needing a peaceful getaway.

Abiquiu is our favorite vacation rental destination when we need to get away from the stresses of daily life. The views are SPECTACULAR! We highly recommend this property and it was a pleasure working with the owner.
