The Hudson Hideaway was by far one of the best properties I have ever rented. Jody is incomparable with the amount of detailed information and thoughtfulness that he put into the property. He thinks of everything you need before you know you need it! The pictures don't even do justice to the amount of space in the house and the beauty of the grounds. We were a group of about 17 adults and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. Jody was always quickly available and happy to help with any questions we had or issues that came up. Cannot wait to come back!

Jody's house was such a wonderful place for us to host a celebratory weekend with friends. We had 13 people there but could have easily fit at least 10 more. There was so much room and endless activities. We barely left the house all weekend because it had everything we needed and more. The house is clearly well cared for and Jody was available to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this place, and all of our friends hope to return next year!

We have 17 adults and 2 teens, for a family weekend get together…and we had a blast! Place was clean, and had everything we could want to use. Host was super friendly, accommodating and accessible. Game room was even better than photos! Pizza oven outside worked fabulous, and everyone had fun with it. We will be back for sure!

We hosted my daughters sweet 16 at the home. Jody is so easy to communicate with and is always available for any questions, comments , or concerns! He stayed in touch and even reached out to make sure we didn’t need anything. The house is perfect! You can tell Jody takes a lot of pride in the house and consistently is investing money back into the house to make this a great get away! It was so nice at the house we all agreed to take almost a $1,000.00 loss for ski tickets to just stay at the house and enjoy the amenities there!

This was THE best trip my friends and I have ever done. About 25 of us (ages 27-33) rented Jody’s place for 3 nights over New Years Eve, and we could not have had a better time. The pictures really don’t do this place justice, nor capture the attention to detail Jody has. He has thought of everything, and is incredible at making you feel welcome and comfortable. The game room is unreal and like your own personal dive bar. The yard is massive and perfect for field games if you don’t want to partake in the basketball court, batting cages, teather ball, volleyball, etc that’s already built in. The hot tub is huge. The fire pits and places are abundant. I really just can’t say enough good things. RENT THIS PLACE!!! Thank you Jody — you’re the best!!

Our family had an awesome time at the Hudson Hideaway. The house was clean, plenty of supplies. The pictures do not tell the half of it, you must see this place in person. We will be back!!!

This was our second stay at this property. Owners were accessible at all times for questions and assistance with everything we needed. We didn’t luck out with the weather but still had a blast bc the house offers so much to do for all ages.

So incredibly special is the only way I can describe the Hudson Hideaway and our experience with Jody !!! It was a stay we will never forget!! We celebrated my best friend’s bachelorette party at Hudson Hideaway. We were a group of about 22 women in our 30’s, there was more than enough space for all of us and we had such an amazing time. Our group text is still talking about how we all want to plan a weekend to go back ASAP !!!! We stayed in at the home for 4 days, 3 nights and honestly we all wanted to stay longer. The house offers so many activities, insane amounts of space and something for everyone. We did a few day trips during our stay – went to Hudson NY one day and did a wine tour of the Hudson Valley another day – but we definitely didn’t need to fill our time on day trips as the house offers so much to do and explore!! Jody was so responsive and helpful with everything on your stay. Our communication beforehand made checking in/ making plans and the whole weekend so seamless. When we arrived Jody gave me a call and we went over EVERYTHING that we would need to know about the home – and even when we had questions over the weekend about how to work the speaker system, etc. Jody ALWAYS took the time to answer our questions and respond to us! I seriously have never had a better rental property host. Since we were such a large group we wanted to make our meals as simple / easy for us as possible. One night we did “make your own pizza” dinner with the pizza oven outback and was such a fun experience. Jody explained everything in the House Information PDF as well as over the phone ! Another night we hired a private chef to come in and cook for our group – what a great time, would highly recommend. The house has everything a private chef needs to cook for a large group – and the large dining table + Folding table in house was perfect for our group of 22 to sit and have a group private chef dinner. After our dinners we spent the nights singing and dancing in the game room / bar / karaoke space upstairs (Our OWN bar?? The bride LOVED this – why go out to a bar when there is one in the house – WITH a dance floor / lights /etc!!). In the morning, we would have our coffee outside overlooking the Hudson River. The home / property is incredibly clean, spacious and beautiful. I cannot wait to come back again!! THANK YOU JODY for Hudson Hideaway and an amazing weekend!

I had multiple people come up to me and tell me during the trip, this was the best day of their life. It's been 3 days since we left the property and my party still cannot stop talking on group text about how much fun they had. Jody was always by his phone answering my questions and cared about making sure we had everything we need. The giant field was perfect for our kickball game, volleyball, frisbee, field day. When we wanted to relax we hung out underneath the covered patio watching TV on the giant 70 inch TV in the most comfortable chairs. We always took advantage of the hot tub and at night we made our way up to Club Coxsackie (game room). Make sure the windows are closed and you can be able to belt out your favorite karaoke songs. The house temp was very comfortable with ACs in every room. We seemed to use every inch of the property with our 20 guests and it never seemed cramped. If you are on the fence about booking Jody's place, you'd be a fool to not click "book now".

I never take the time to write reviews but I had to make an exception. We came here to spend the week of my daughter's wedding in Hudson. This property is amazing. Jody is beyond responsive. It's a great house for a large family and kids. We felt so at home and just a fun, relaxing time. They thought of everything. I am a snob when it comes to travel and I travel all over the world and always first class. This was such a sweet surprise.

Incredible house. We had 13 adults and a baby. The house has every amenity inside and out. We enjoyed outside activities like kayaking, corn hole, and relaxing in hot tub or on patio. Inside, the game room is so much fun with a pool table, poker table, and karaoke. The kitchen is beautiful and we all fit at the long dining table. Highly recommend. Jody is the best host! Would book again!

We never left the property. There was plenty to do for all ages. We loved hanging out together on the back patio and floating in the Hudson on inner tubes.
