This beautiful cottage was an absolute pleasure to stay in. Check in and communication was great, and we felt like the owners cared about our stay. The property was magical, you can see the love that is put into this place. Comfortable, well stocked, and peaceful. I would highly recommend this incredible cottage!!!!

The pictures do not do them justice. The house is more spacious than it looks in the photos. It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and cozy. The kitchen, and the house in general, are extremely well stocked with anything you could possibly need- you can pack lightly because Gary has thought of everything! The house is in a lovely wooded area, but you are just minutes away from restaurants, shops, etc. Very close to Providence which has a lot to offer as well. I wish we had been able to stay longer! This rental is one of a kind! The property was very unique, clean and was equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this stay and experience was altogether - from the cottage itself to the host to the overall ambiance, everything was a 10 out of 10! This location is perfect for a secluded weekend getaway; the scenery was breathtaking, the cottage was so spacious (and completely stocked with anything and everything that we may have needed during our stay), and overall made for a beautiful, quiet, peaceful stay altogether. Gary is truly the most hospitable host I’ve ever encountered; he was always checking to make sure we were well accounted for, went above and beyond by providing household items, necessities, etc, and was so outstanding the entire time we were there! All in all, this was the most perfect stay we’ve had and we definitely plan to come back! Thank you so much for this experience!!

This property is incredible. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked for all your needs. Communication with Gary is quick, and helpful. The grounds are amazing, too. My only regret is that we were so busy we didn’t get to spend more time at the house! Thank you for your hospitality, Gary.

This place was absolutely PERFECT! It is set back just enough to give you an isolated feeling, but it is still close enough to get to different places in no time. The house is well kept and very clean. Also, it is very well stocked. There were so many neat kitchen gadgets. I added some things to my list for my own home. The yard is peaceful and beautiful. The hammock was a nice place to take a nap. The orchard in the back of the property was worthy of daily walks to view it. We saw deer on the property, which was an added bonus. Gary was very responsive to text messages and very helpful in giving tips for the area. We totally loved our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat! If you are going to be in the area, stay here!

Wonderful place that is close to restaurants and Providence, yet still feels private and remote. Loved how much natural light the windows let in. Very relaxing while still having my creature comforts.

This Forest cabin is clean, quiet and well equipped. The owner was responsive to all our needs. We enjoyed the eclectic art and all the reading material.

The house was a great place to spend a couple of days. Located in a tucked away wooded environment yet convenient to any and all stores and restaurants. 2 great fireplaces (1 inside and 1 outside) that gave the place a welcoming and homey feel to it.

Exactly what we we’re looking for! Quaint and cozy cottage with a fireplace! Gary was a wonderful host! Always available and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. If you’re looking to unwind and relax, I highly recommend this place. We will be coming back in the Spring for sure!

We had a wonderful stay. It felt like an extension of home. Gary thinks of all the little things and was a great host. The home is decorated nicely. It is a great place to get away and enjoy the area. I would highly recommend this home to others and book again when I’m in the area.

My husband and I stayed here last October and we were so exciter to go back this year. Everything was how we remembered it. The house was very clean and Gary was available for any questions we had. We spent most of our time outside at the fire.

We stayed a month at Gary’s and enjoyed every minute. Gary is a wonderful and accommodating host, responded to all questions within minutes. And his house is right out of a fairytale! Everything was top of the line, from the linens to the cookware. The property was immaculate and beautiful. In the middle of the woods, but close to everything! Can’t wait to return!

This property is amazing! The cottage is perfect, set in a beautiful, private location. Gary was a perfect host, and all about making your stay enjoyable. He was very responsive to our messages, and gave us many tips on local things to do, and the best places to find fresh produce and seafood. The cottage is beautifully decorated inside, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could ever need. We took advantage of the outdoor seating areas, and the outdoor fireplace every evening. We definitely recommend this 5 star property.

Having read the reviews and looked at the property, we knew we were in for a treat, and that is an understatement. First, as others have said, Gary is a perfect host. Incredibly responsive, and has clearly thought through many details that help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It's obvious he is focused on the enjoyment and comfort of his guests. If you are lucky enough to stay here and you don't have a great time, trust me it's you, not Gary or the cottage. And what a cottage. Wow. Relaxed from the moment we drove up. Beautiful wooded setting. Tulips surrounding the entry to the cottage, almost ready to bloom. Seeing the standalone covered fireplace deck, knowing we'll be there later for sure. OK, so here's the detail. Location is great. Yeah, 195 is there in the background, but not bad. The house is two levels. When I saw the spiral staircase in the pics I thought it went to a loft. Instead it leads to the finished basement. The main floor features massive cathedrals. The kitchen is small and galley-like, but trust me when I say it works perfectly AND you will have everything you need if you wish to cook. EVERYTHING. Every time we needed something, we'd look around and go "There it is". Became a bit of a game. Living room is spacious. Loveseat and a couple of chairs. Table for four. Most everything seems to be geared towards four adults, but plenty of space. Fireplace is perfect. One small toilet is located in the entry area (so yeah...3 toilets) Main bedroom is massive, as is the attached bath. Everything we saw and touched seemed to be more towards the high end of quality. The main bed was very firm...my wife loved it but for me I prefer a bit softer. The bed downstairs was more to my liking. There's not much downstairs except a small sitting area and the other bedroom, with a shower and toilet. You can walk the road on the property. The cottage is situated about halfway. If you keep going on the road it heads to 195 and the orchard. If you walked the entire road one way and then back, it's under a mile. We would walk almost every day, but it rained near the end and the walking was not easy after that. As mentioned, the outdoor fire deck is detached. Right near the house though. Beautiful place to sit and relax, but I suggest insect spray during any warmer months. All in all a great place to RELAX.

My husband and I stayed here and couldn't have been happier with our choice! This cottage is tucked away in the woods and is impeccably maintained! We absolutely loved the indoor fireplace and used it both nights. I really loved the cozy chair in the living room. It was the perfect reading nook. The outdoor space is really nice, with a hammock, porch, grill, and outdoor fireplace, although it was too cold to use it during our visit. We really enjoyed utilizing the space to cook for ourselves; the cottage is fully supplied with all kinds of kitchen utensils, pots, and appliances. What a nice way to spend a weekend together, not that far from Boston. I highly recommend!

One word - WOW!! Firstly, Gary was wonderful in our communications both before we booked the cabin, after we booked, and we even called when we were there about something. He was kind and friendly and responded promptly each time. Upon arrival at the cabin, that was when I really had the WOW moment! It is in a beautiful location, private but not too far away either. The house itself is beautiful - the architecture is amazing with beautiful high ceilings and a great floor plan. What really wow'ed me is the decor and style of the place - every inch is so well thought out and just gorgeous. It is both quaint and luxurious at the same time. The deck is great for entertaining and enjoying the weather, the patio area with fireplace is PERFECT for any season really, and the extra touches that Gary provides are so thoughtful. There were robes, plenty of towels, a plentiful cupboard, well equipped kitchen, and everything you need to make a great meal. I can't say enough about how wonderful of an experience this was all around. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin for a little getaway!

Everything you could want from a cabin in the woods and then some. Kitchen equipment is high end and all the cooking tools you could want. Flashlights for walking outside (although around the house is very well lit), toothpaste/toothbrush kit, Google Dots- and more. Very relaxing long weekend.
