My family and I stayed here for 2 nights before we headed to a resort for the rest of our trip. The beach here was beautiful and the condo was exactly as pictured. The host was great at communicating with us and very helpful with setting up transportation for us. Unfortunately there were a couple things that made our stay subpar. The cleanliness of the place was not up to our expectations. There was little hairs and dirt all over the bathroom. The sheets and overall cleanliness of some of the beds was not the best. There was visible dust, hair, dirt, etc. If you are the type of person who pays attention to little details and expect perfection, then you will not like it here. Also the biggest other issue was the air conditioning!!! It was not working in multiple areas of the house. We are a big family and some of us had to sleep outside, and the rest crammed into the master bedroom because we could not stand the heat. The house was at 80+ degrees Fahrenheit our whole entire trip. Each area in the house had its own separate unit, but some of the units were not working or would take too long to begin to cool. Overall it was a beautiful beach, and the apartment matched the pictures but because of the lack of cleanliness and air conditioning issues I can’t give it a 5 star review.

Ilia is a fantastic host: she always replied to my questions or recommendations in the folowing minutes. She is very flexible and will do all she can to accomodate you. The unit is extremely well located and a exactly like the pics provided. Mary, the maid, is very helpful and efficient, even though she speaks only Spanish. She also made us a dinner which was really good and recommend to use that service. Unfortunately, there was seaweeds on the beach at that moment, which is not our host fault since ALL the resorts on that beach had the same problem but it did not prevent us to enjoy the warm sea water and the very nice pool in the complex. I recommend 100% this rental with Ilia, it was a great vacation.

Lovely, large condo with an even better view. Great neighborhood location with lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Loved the beach, pool, and beach bar!

The condo is very clean with a wonderful view. Ilia is great. There is a bar/restaurant onsite while taking in the beach. The beach can/does have seaweed. They have workers that clear it. Mary is a rockstar! Definitely recommend having her cook. The best surprise was how walkable it is - this is understated in the description. Right behind the condo complex is kind of a vibrant downtown area. There are many wonderful restaurants, shops, etc. Great service, live music, and hospitality. For example, there is a brilliant cigar shop and an authentic Italian pizza shop - real wood fired ovens from Italy! And much more! There are a lot of people trying to sell things on the beach and they like to sell the kids - this is annoying so be prepared for it. Our two best excursions were a private boat to Saona and Catalina. Highly recommend these! The palm trees, starfish, food, colors were magnificent! Overall the property and DR exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

We absolutely loved the property. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures. Nice and close to restaurants. Perfect view of the ocean from our hugh balcony. Pool was great and weather was awesome. The maid Mary was very friendly, and when she saw my friend crocheting, she picked up the crocheting to show her that she knew how to do it too. We had a good laugh over that. We would definitely go back again. It was great!!

Nice place to stay at, close to everything you need. Steps to the beach. Beautiful view. Delicious restaurants just outside the complex. Ilia was very good at responding to anything we needed and was also open to suggestions. Safe area and lots of friendly people. We would definitely visit again.

Great destination holiday made even better by a Super Host

We found our unit to be very clean and our host very accessible. The condo was nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony and the living room were amazing. A constant breeze enabled us to forgo the air conditioning altogether. The time of year helped I’m sure. Our housekeeper Mary prepared dinner for us one night and it was the best meal we had all week. I would highly recommend her services. She is a very sweet lady. We contacted Ilia several times with various questions and she always replied promptly. The hot water situation was a little funky but never really an issue. Altogether this is an amazing property. We always felt safe.

Sincerely we had a blast staying in Punta Cana!! I will be back to visit again. Great view of the pools and beach. Restaurant staff was very cordial on the property. Our housekeeper was very attentive as well. She was very kind and hospitable. The only improvement could be possibly having a fan in the main living room to keep guests cool. Overall we had a positive experience and we as a family would like to visit the Dominican Republic again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. God bless!! The condo and location were amazing, but when you're spending more than $300/night, you expect hot water. There was no hot water during our 7-night stay, so we all grew accustomed to cold showers. I have to admit, it was actually somewhat refreshing, but not what I expected. There was clearly an issue before we arrived, and we should have been informed.

The condo is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and a view from the master. We left the windows and doors open at night to enjoy the sound of the ocean and the beautiful breeze. The unit is tastefully decorated and had many extra touches, including some toys for the kids to play with. Mary was wonderful in taking care of us during our stay and Ilia was very quick to respond and always available for anything we needed. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, 2 large pools in the complex and walking distance to a number of restaurants and amenities. We have been to Bavaro numerous times and this was by far our favourite stay. We didn't want to leave and look forward to returning again!

Staying at Lia’s place was so amazing, we did not want to leave. The breeze and sound of the ocean so near was very relaxing. Ease of communication, decor and cleanliness of condo, clean pool, view, private beach area, security and location were all part of the package. I HIGHLY recommend her place and would stay there again.

Ilia is a wonderful hostess. From the moment we booked until we arrived safely back home, she was in contact. She was able to answer every question we had and was so helpful. We used Ilia’s recommendation of Pedro for our transportation. He is friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. The condo is exactly as described and shown in photos. It was beautiful and clean when we arrived. The view from the patio is simply stunning and we spent a lot of time soaking in the view and breeze out there. The beach is gorgeous and we walked quite far every morning before it got too hot. We felt 100% safe on the beach at all times. We felt so safe at Playa Turquesa that we had no hesitation in leaving our four kids age 16,15,12 and 8 together in the condo while we walked or ran to Bam Market . Speaking of kids-they all thoroughly loved the entire DR experience including getting to know the locals, adventuring out for meals and the excursions we went on. The pool is just steps away from the condo and it is clean and well maintained. There are limited chairs at the pool but this was not an issue as we were here at a less busy time of year. Favorite restaurants-we LOVED Toc. We also ate at Citrus probably too many times. It’s amazing! Dalias was a wonderful breakfast spot we frequented for coffee and pastries as well as a few sit down meals. We also ate at Wacamole and La Bruja Chupadora BBQ and Pub was a good choice to get some familiar food for our very picky 8 year old. Mary came to clean the condo every other day which was wonderful. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have her cook us an authentic Dominican meal and dessert-amazing! Absolutely take advantage of this. This was such a wonderful way to experience the DR as opposed to a resort. We had the most amazing vacation and miss it so much already. Thank you, Ilia, for all of your hospitality.

This property is amazing. First the owner, Lia, treats you like a VIP. She's responsive to questions and can help with transportation, etc.. Second, the property, it is beautiful. You are literally seconds from the beach. The views are amazing. We spent a week with our two teenage daughters. The condo layout is spacious and everyone had their own bathroom. There were several restaurants that we enjoyed (Citrus, Dolce and Wacamole). We felt safe walking around to the shops and restaurants. There is a grocery store close by that has everything you would need. On the complex is a small bar, Toc, that has great drinks and food as well. Would highly recommend this condo. We loved it.

Lia is an amazing host, she is very professional her staff is amazing and very accommodating to everything you need . She literally responds to every text or email in a timely fashion. She provided everything we needed. I would recommend staying here if your going to DR she help us with our whole vacation including transportation and covid testing. She is amazing her apartment is perfect looks exactly like the pictures very spacious clean welcoming and gives you a homely vibe. Overly I give her 1000% rating if I could. The area was amazing and the beach was phenomenal!!!
