This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon.
Cabin was clean, comfortable, with amazing views. Place very quiet and secluded but close to town. Cabin has everything you need. Ana gave us great tips on things to do. Highly recommend this cabin.

Absolutely love this place! Very peaceful and serene. Easy access. I like that they have several different ways to access the property and two different driveways. Close to town and attractions. Had such a good time didn’t want to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Snacks, k cups and welcome card were a nice touch.
Beautiful Mountain Views with lots of wildlife, so bring your binoculars!
Roads are gravel but easy access to property. Big flat backyard for kids and dogs to play. Ana was very sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend!

This is our second time staying at this amazing place. Easy access, only a few minutes to get to the cabin from main road. Central location and close to everything. Cabin is immaculate and very nicely decorated. Looks as beautiful in person as it does in the photos. The views are gorgeous. Ana is very sweet and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely come back for a third visit. We highly recommend this place! Ana, thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley. Property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Beautiful cabin with great view of mountains andnenty of privacy. Asheville and the National park both close by. As mentioned innother reviews the road up was a little tricky and we avoided driving it after dark. In hindsight we should have driven our jeep. Overall great stay and I would def recommend for anyone who wants to visit the smokies and doesnt want to deal with the Gatlinburg tourist trap.

Cabin is adorable, comfortable and clean. It’s very peaceful and serene. I was happy I found this place. Although I was there for business and was mostly working on my computer ( internet worked great), the beautiful mountain views made work more enjoyable. Will make a point of coming back with the family in the near future.

I’m not even sure where to begin… The space was perfect. The view was incredible. We could have sat in the backyard the entire time we were there! The location is right in between the Casino and fabulous hiking. We will absolutely be back.

Remote alternative to avoid the crowdes and tourists of the Northern portion of the national park.

Second time staying here! Fantastic cabin with fantastic views. Close to the Parkway and Maggie Valley

We spent a week here during one of the hottest weeks, but this cabin is cool. You get a much nicer property than is available in this price range since you are renting only the lower area. I'd bring a portable hammock if I came back. The view is nice. It is hard to leave the peaceful yard, but there is a lot to do in the area. (Waterfalls, trails cute cities, gambling etc.). Definitely would love to come back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here and enjoyed everything about the stay. The owner was very helpful and kept in touch so all went well. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everyday items. We have an AWD vehicle and were glad to have it as the gravel roads are up and down. The drive was well worth it for the remoteness and peacefulness.

Much of the reason we chose this location is because the host, Ana, had so many wonderful reviews regarding her communication and hospitality. And that's exactly what we found, too. Ana was wonderful, communicating with me several times to ensure that our stay was comfortable and that all my questions were answered. She provided invaluable suggestions for things to do and places to see. She genuinely cares that her guests have a wonderful time.
Morning coffee with the view of the mountain is spectacular, and was one of our favorite experiences. It's so nice that the cabin has an actual back yard, and the peace, quiet, and privacy was wonderful. We talked with a few of her neighbors while driving down the mountain road, and they were so kind. The cabin was clean and in great shape. As others have said, you are staying in the lower level of the cabin as the upper level is still under construction. For us, it was perfect. The grill was immaculately clean, and we got by just fine with the electric griddle, microwave, and coffee makers. Ana's description of the cabin is detailed and helpful. And we definitely recommend 4 wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles -- so glad we had one.
Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, go eat in charming Waynesville, do a horseback ride in Smoky Mountain National Park, hike Waterrock Knob and see Mingo and Soco Falls, among others. So much to do there! We hope to be back, and we highly recommend this cabin. What a fantastic vacation.

Ana was great in communicating with us before the trip, making sure we had all the information we needed getting to the cabin and how to make the most out of our stay. The property is GORGEOUS! Very cute decorations in Black Bear Lodge as well as beautiful views of the mountains. Ana's recommendations as well as the guest journal provided many ideas of how to take advantage of being in Maggie Valley this time of year. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area with short drive to many activities. 4 wheel drive is recommended for the road to the cabin. There are plenty amenities at the cabin for cooking and passing the time. Hope to come back soon.

This was our first time in Maggie Valley. We absolutely loved the small town feel and the peace and quiet. The cabin space we rented had a beautiful view and was perfect for the two of us. The location was great in relation to local points of interest. We will definitely keep this cabin in our short list for the future, but once it is complete (upper floors), the rental fee might be outside the range of two people. It will definitely a consideration for future "family" vacations! Ana is an excellent host and she is very responsive in her communication. We highly recommend this cabin rental! If you want peace and quiet away from over populated tourist traps and the most beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains, this is the place for you!

Great property with great views. 4-Wheel drive is helpful. Ana, the owner, is extremely helpful and wants you to have a great stay.

Our stay was great. Even though we did a last minute reservation but Anna was prompt to immediately contact us and ask us about the needs for the stay.
All the required documents were shared which were detailed enough and easy to follow for both checkin and checkout.
One advice is to go through provided document with the routes to the lodge as well as for the way back. Also an AWD or 4x4 would be the best vehicle for the area.
The lodge is near Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge and other areas that can be visited if you want to explore the area.

Our family had an amazing eight night stay in your cabin. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. The view was beautiful. We highly recommend the Black Bear Lodge. Thank you so much Ana and Lee!

We loved staying at this Cranberry Falls Cabin in Maggie’s Valley. It’s very well located, the cabin looks brand new, very clean and very quiet. It’s close to all the places to visit and close to good restaurants. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this cabin and we’ll come back.

Property was very well maintained and perfect for our visit and location to Bryson City to whitewater rafting. Stunning views and a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Thank you Ana for a memorable stay.

We stayed here for eight nights, making a vacation prior to dropping our son off at camp.
Everything was spectacular.
Location, location, location… we couldn’t ask for a better location. Half a mile from Soco Falls. Half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ten minutes to Maggie Valley proper. 30 minutes to the Cherokee casino. Everywhere you want to go is within reach. But, the property is secluded and private - just you, the views out the back door, and the occasional wildlife.
The property is immaculately maintained. The living space is roomy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. Ana and Lee were great hosts.
The property is at a higher altitude. The air is comfortable in July, even crisp at times. I can safely say that this is the first time I’ve run a fireplace on the Fourth of July!!

We loved the cabin and the view was amazing. We loved the fact that there was a yard to enjoy and not hanging off a mountain. We even had elk walk into the yard one afternoon. So close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great location.
