the villa is very modern and clean with everything you need for a family holiday.

The whole villa is nice, with perfect location and you have absolute privacy all the day, nobody disturbs you, nobody walks around. No wasps, no insect, no ants, no mosquitoes !! Everything inside and around the villa is the same as you can see on the photos, the photos are real and true. The pool is clean, wonderful and suitable for the children so as for swimming. The large garden , parking place for 7 cars. The area is safe. One bedroom is on the ground-floor and has its own bathroom, two others are on the first floor and there is another bathroom. The air-condition is everywhere and it runs perfectly. There are two XXL large terraces with lovely view ( wonderful sunset). The distance to the center of Skala is ok and you may find there everything you need, nice tavernas and well equipped shops. To the beach, there are two shorters you can use when walking by foot and the beach is clean, very long and you may find the place just for you and your family, also in top season. You may choose the area with beach service (sunshade , the sunbed) or use your own equipment. The owner Costas is very communicative, has a perfect English and is able to help you with every question or issue. There was a special welcome surprise in the fridge from him. The cleaning ladies are discreet and quick. The villa is suitable also for children, no dangerous areas there. We highly recommend to book and try !!

This is a new modern villa in walking distance to the center of Skala (1km according to Google Maps) and 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Mounda beach.. The property is exceptionally private being the last villa at the end of the road. There is a large parking area to the side of villa. The pictures on the booking site area good representation of the villa. Downstairs has an open plan lay out. The lounge has a large sofa and satellite TV if you find the time to watch it. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, induction hob and oven. There is also a small dishwasher and washing machine. There is a bedroom with on-suite bathroom off the kitchen. This has two single beds and limited storage for clothes and suitcases. Outside around the pool is a large dinning table, multiple seats and sun loungers. The pool is maintained daily at around 9am. Its not huge but works fine for cooling off. A central staircase leads upstairs to two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Each bedroom has a large balcony from which you get a partial sea view. There is a Safe Deposit box in one of the bedrooms and they come equipped with a hair driers. The Villa was cleaned on Tuesday's and Friday's by the maid who was quick and efficient and also changed the towels, grey ones for the pool and white for the bathrooms. There is Wi-Fi throughout the villa, I measured it around 7 Mbps download which was generally fine but devices did tend to disconnect from time to time. There is air-conditioning in all the rooms and fly screens on the windows which is great. Our host Costas was fantastic, met us at the property to answer any questions and provided his mobile number in case of any problems. We did have bad weather during our stay and had to get in contact with him, the response was almost immediate and our issue was quickly resolved. The Villa is owned by a local family who also have a taverna in Skala, you get a 10% discount if you eat there.

There is very little not to like about the property. But, a couple of points to bare in mind. As the villa is so new the garden isn't mature and needs time to bed in. The kitchen whilst well fitted it lacks preparation space, almost all of the worktop is taken up by the sink, hob and microwave. There was also a lack of plug sockets so we had top keep swapping the toaster and kettle. The electrics work when your keycard is inserted into a reader by the front door. Returning late at night in the dark it can be difficult to lock the door as you key is attached to the card. Also on occasion we started the dishwasher off and then discovered it got switched off when we went out.

Very modern villa, lovely decor. all the home comforts you would want to make a home from home. Walking distance to the centre.
