House was lovely and quaint, we had a great weekend. hot tub needed extra chlorine as water was murky after use. A pergola over the hot tub would be a great for when it rains - little suggestion x

Warm pleasant welcome from Helen. Lovely , cosy and clean.

Only advice to make access better would be a handrail down main steps to cottage. Although there was easier access through gate to adjoining cottage.

The cottage is even more beautiful than the pics give it credit for. The view is stunning and the house itself is gorgeous. I would definitely come back!

The views from the cottage where outstanding and sitting in the log fired hot tub looking over the countryside was so relaxing . beds where comfy and there was a well stocked kitchen with kitchen equipment etc

T he heating is on all the times so it gets warm but you can turn each individual radiator down or off . The bathroom radiator was noise sound like it was filling up and was loud

beautiful area, warm fire place, comfortable historic cottage with great views and location. the owners were kind, helpful and very efficient with communication and help!

Our property keys were in a lock box situated at the back of the property - the host (Helen) was very apologetic that she could not meet us in person but this wasn't a problem at all as the code for the lockbox and other necessary information was provided well in advance so we had no issues. I stupidly put the wrong postcode into the satnav but if you do it right the first time you have no issues at all! The property was immaculate - one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. It is secluded, which is what we wanted - unfortunately the local pub right outside was closed for refurbishment but we did a 5 minute drive to Horseshoe Falls and walked along the canal into the town of Llangollen and stayed there for the afternoon/evening. The property had all amenities you could need, plenty of cooking equipment and utensils and board games to boot. It was very comfortable, clean and we would return in the future - highly recommend.

Nothing we didn't like. Only tiny thing would be that we couldn't find the thermostat to turn the heating down but in all honesty we could have looked more or asked the host.

Beautiful setting Well appointed Very clean warm and comfortable Soft carpets upstairs really welcome after a long walk! Woodburner, games and books on hand, I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them all
