Getting to town is difficult other than by the hotel car.

No public transport close by. The only bus was not regular. We have to walk a lot from the tourist place. The dinner menu was okay but limited. The second time, we did not know what else to ask for

The pool was small but clean, nice and private surrounded by deliciously smelling vegetation. We felt very lucky to have had this facility in the Sicilian heat while travelling with children. The ambience and decor of the whole hotel was wonderfully atmospheric and the staff were very accommodating. Their free shuttles into the city centre and to the private beach were a wonderful bonus.

The facilities were a bit 3-star, rather than 4, but they were adequate. The drinks and food were expensive, but not much more so than in any other tourist place in the area... the problem was that there is not a lot of things to do in the area they are in, and though this was well known to us before our trip, we did not quite understand that the shuttles were as limited as they were in availability and that taxis would be so expensive. Breakfast was lovely in the sense that the food was served in a lovely room and there was plenty of it, but it was a bit disappointing in the lack of variety and freshness.

Nice, small hotel, with convenient rooms, very clean and with very good continental breakfast. Kind and friendly staff.

The personel in the hotel is very proffesional, helpfull and always smiling. I also appreciated the architecture and the interior design of the main building.

We got a room with very nice view and tarrace however it was beyond the reach of the wifi - this was reported more than once however nothing could be done except to change our room. The bathrooms were very poorly cleaned and rooms are not maintained properly - falling of skirtings, some of the tiles in the bathroom missing, jets in the thub not working... There was no stuff like pen and paper, needles and things that are usually provided in a 4 star hotel. The view from the breakfast area is stunning however the breakfast itsefl is exactly the same everyday - the only warm food is scrambled eggs made of powder and some sausages. The only thing worth appreciation is the personel and the coffee which was amazing.

Our flight was cancelled, and had to get one a day later, tried to move our booking with villa del bosco we were told someone would get back to us, eventually we got a reply saying they couldn’t move our booking, by the time I got the reply they wouldn’t issue a refund. Even though when I checked online they still had enough space for the day we wanted. I found this entirely unfair.
