Nice building. Thanks to its style of architecture wanted to be there at least once.

Breakfast is really trouble. Some hostels are even better. Also problem with hot water at room. Been waiting at about10 minutes. There is really potencial with that building but nobody probably cares. You can hear people in an another room.

Spacious suite for us 2 guys, so we were able to have our own space & beds - 1 double + settee bed with folding door between. Great view from front facing room. Good value for our 7 night stay. Radical circular design. Dedicated car park with helpful attendant.

Reception area very gloomy with free standing electic heater element to keep staff warm - area even looked closed! Receptionist very slow to process checks in up to 15 mins per person, with locals butting in during the process Restaurant closed. Cups in bedroom not washed or replaced. Had to request coffee & tea sachets 3 times in week. Didn't understand English guests like milk in tea & coffee, but on day 2 they let me have a 1 litre pack then charged me equivilant of £3 for it! 35p in nearby supermarket I found out later! Kettle supplied on request. 2 days with brown cold water.

I liked everything. Good location, nice staffs.

The hotel is cozy and clean.It is located near the park and Lavra.There are also small shops,cafes,MacDonald's and Kievfoodmarket.It is a quiet hotel.

I would add good options for a breakfast.

Location

Room, facilities, bathroom, breakfast. They charged me 360 hryna more under the name of “late check out” in advance where I was going to check out at 9:30. Later I found out that they were thinking I was going to check out late. Then they realized their mistake. In addition, the room does not worth the money I paid.

Great view, great location, (paid) parking under the building.

Localization, beautiful view form the balcony, comfortable bed, and good sound proofed walls.

As we were informed, check-in starts at 14:00 and is available up until close to midnight. We arrived at the hotel after an exhausting day around 18 o`clock only to find out that our room is dirty and will not be available for another hour at least. The personnel could not offer us anything else apart from leaving our bags at the check-in counter and going for a walk. When asked, other rooms with more comfort were also available and even though price difference was only around 300 uah, and it was not our fault that they did not get the room ready on time, we were not offered those rooms instead. When asked for a manager we were informed that he is not available, and that we should be able to understand that it is very hard for only two cleaning ladies to clean up all the rooms in the hotel. The main question was - how is it our fault as customers and what are they going to do to remediate it? Both were left unanswered. So we waited near the counter for an hour for someone to call us and give us the key, but no one did. At least not until I myself reminded the personnel that we were still there, still waiting, that they woke up and started the check-in process. The hotel has sweet localization, and the room itself was really good with a nice view. But the customer service was godawful and nowhere else, not in any country I was made to wait for the room to be cleaned up 5 hours after the check-in time!

Shower had too week water flow, no shampoo-shower gel was empty, condotioneer was not working. But Hotel workers helped to resolve problems.

I really wanted to stay at one of the most iconic modernist buildings in all of Ukraine and I was not disappointed in that respect. The rooms kept their vintage charm while having some of the furniture updated and the bathroom renovated. The room was really clean. I also found the bed to be very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the water in the bathroom was just about lukewarm. You can guess that the water boiler has not been upgraded since the hotel was built in the early eighties and still functions in a very Soviet way: the water temperature was just bearable enough to take a shower, but was not one single degree warmer. For this price, in a European capital, this is just not acceptable. Not as important but still annoying: if you want the room warmer or colder, it's not with a thermostat, but with the AC, which unfortunately is really loud. Finally I found the curtains to let too much light through in the morning for my taste.
