Great service Nice big swimming pool (2 of em) Right on the beach

Expensive for what you get 400 sq ft room sounds very large but it isn't really More of a family staycation place Crowded beach with multiple resorts by each other Doesn't really have charm and quietness, very generic "resort" vibe, so it doesn't feel "special"

Beachfront location. Large rooms. Friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast, lots of choices.

The property & location was fantastic. the best swimming beach in Sri lanka. the staff were exceptional. A special thank you to Mr Ashaan & Mr Lahiru for going the extra mile to accommodate us with our reservation & dinner requests as we were a family of 13 & occupied 5 rooms. Also mr Jayantha & Ranjan as well as the cleaning staff. All the staff were exceptional.

the bathrooms need upgrading

nice location on Bentota beach, which has lovely sand and clear blue sea (quite strong waves). the hotel is nice and clean, with large pools and coconut grove to sunbath under. food at the hotel was good, although we chose to eat out most evenings, and recommend island seafood restaurant (prawn curry) staff were all very friendly and helpful, and always looking to help to provide whatever you needed

The hotel entrance was very inviting, the staff were super friendly, the public areas and the room were super clean, has access to public beach and their pool is very nice… also it is close to many very good seafood restaurants. I would like to give a big thanks to Thasmi the guest relations officer for all her help and friendliness, the check in experience was extremely professional and smooth

Breakfast wasn’t that great, below average and a bit poor of options.

Lots of open space. Very nicely maintained property and even gave us a late checkin by 1 hour.

We are from germany and stayed our first 3 nights in Sri lanka in avani bentota. The Sri Lanka Trip is our honeymoon. We arrived at 5 o clock in the Night. The Hotel offerred a early Check in and a room Upgrade for free. We had a huge and clean room. All the people are very friendly. The service is amazing. The Hotel and the Garden is very clean. The Hotel has 2 big Pools and very convertable sun beds. You can can easy walk outside for restaurants, shops, Supermarktes and Bank. We take euro and change it at the Ceylon bank without fees and for a good Rate. You also can change Money in the Hotel if you like. The breakfast was great, also the cocktails on the bar. We also watched the other Hotels in the Area, but the avani looks the best and has the best Beach Part.

Great location and food. Fantastic facility. Safe and comfortable. All staff was amazing and went out of their way to make us feel special. They offered support when we found ourselves in difficulty. 10 out of 10 Beautiful memories.
