Not close to town

We didn't have breakfast as I always take my own, but we were very happy to find the small kitchenette area that had plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses, mini bar fridge, toaster, kettle and a microwave. They also provide tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk. Overall the room was very clean and the setup worked well. We will definitely stay here again.

DEFINITELY NOT the rudeness and none helpfulness of the manager that I spoke to on the phone at 9pm. I was late. however I don’t realise once I checked the confirmation note that my son put 1900 arrival, I told him 9 o’clock. I would have thought we would have received a phone call and we would have been made aware of my sons mistake and organised keys to be left out. I asked the manager (who was addressing me rudely throughout the phone call) if he could suggest another motel that would take us at that time and he just simply hung up. He seems like areal arrogant pig and in the wrong industry. Maybe a job at the abattoirs.

- No facial tissues and we had 6 people (a cloth was provided instead) - Dining table with a wobbly top - Located a bit out of the way, not ideal during holidays

Everything about this property is fabulous….Great location, beautiful grounds, scrupulously clean room and the most comfortable bed ever!….. The manager was very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful too!

The restaurant hadn’t been open for years and this hasn’t been noted on booking .com …

We stayed at McNevin's Tamworth for one night. We loved that the motel was located out of town. There was plenty of parking spaces and a service station just across the road. The owner was very friendly and helpful in settling us in and also recommended a great place to get a meal (the Nemingha Tavern, just down the road). The room had a king bed, was spacious, spotless and so quiet! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend McNevin's Tamworth to other travellers!
