We arrived to a friendly welcome, offered Lemonade and Greek sweet. Our apartment was large, with sea view, it was well stocked, should you wish to prepare meals. The apartment was cleaned daily except Sunday. Maria was very helpful, giving advice on best places to visit on the island and helped us arrange car hire, at a good price. We enjoyed our stay at the Amaryllis, you are close to shops and restaurants, you can walk from the ferry, providing you do not have too much luggage, the hotel is on an incline, should you have difficulties with mobility. Karpathos is a lovely island, with stunning scenery and some beautiful beaches.

I liked the location, central but in a quite street

it’s quite old and needs to be renovated. I also mentioned to the reception that the bulb in the bathroom was gone but they didn’t change it

I loved my stay at Amaryllis! The apartment was super clean, spacious, and really comfortable. I had a great little balcony with a sea view that was ideal for watching the sunset. What made my stay even more perfect was the genuine hospitality of the owner and staff. The owner, Mrs. Margarita, was the sweetest! Every day she brought sweets and fruit to my room. When I saw her she always checked in to see how I was and if I needed anything; water, coffee, more fruit or sweets. Maria, who works at reception, was also such a genuinely sweet and kind person. I made mess of my reservation and she was so patient and helpful and got it all sorted out for me. She was also great about checking in with me and was always available to answer my 101 questions. Such a warm and welcoming place. They make you feel right at home!

Everything was perfect!

My experience has been really good. I felt at home and loved the location, the room, the staff, the owner...everything! I will come back for sure to Amaryllis. it is the best place in Pigadia . Thanks for all the comfort , hospitality and kindness!

all was good

i often travel alone as i live in greece and the hotel staff were excellent making me feel at home...nothing was too much trouble and i return to them in two weeks time! for people on their own dont miss out on this hotel.

the location and the staff was super helpful and amazing

The hosts were incredibly hospitable. The mother had fresh baked goods for me everyday. I was given a one bedroom apartment, which was very basic, but large with sea views from both the bedroom and living room. There was a full size fridge in the kitchenette and the owner brought me a a coffee machine.

There was no place to hang the shower wand in the shower.

people here are so nice, they treated us so kindely. the grandma even offered us some sweets. we loved our stay here, thank you!

Very clean, close to the port and all the cafes and restaurants. The room was also very big, well taken care of, a brand new kitchenette and a large balcony you could comfortably sit on with a great view of the sea. Very friendly staff, great value for money. I would definitely stay there again.

Old cosy hotel

Water boiler was out of order and dusch system was some problematic.

Very good water pressure. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Nice room layout and beds were comfortable. Air conditioning functioned well.

Location was on avvery steep hill. You need a car.

The room was super nice, the bed comfy. The AC worked well and the wifi, too. The kitchen was well equiped. the house also had an elevator. its very close to the city center and you have a nice view to the mountains

The bathroom was small and compared to the room not nice. The communication was sometimes a bit difficult because the owners cant speak fluent english
