V conveniently located to the village centre.
We had booked 2 nights just in case the heli hike didn’t happen on the first day. Really we only wanted 1 night in the village as there’s not much else to do in the area. The property we v accommodating and refunded us for the 2nd night which then allowed us to drive on down to wanaka earlier. Really really appreciated that
Felt v basic. Their sign outside the motel says “4 star self rated”. Compared with uk standards it’s more like 3 star
No washing machine or tumble dryer
Passive aggressive sign in the kitchenette area informing us that if we didn’t wash and put our dishes away and leave the place as we found it, there would be a $25 charge. We would have cleaned up regardless so I didn’t appreciate the sentiment.
