It’s location. Near the beautiful place of Monte Cassino.
A run down, dirty hotel with no internet or other facilities. Staff spoke little or no English and the fridge in the room held other guests used bottles.

Great hotel for an overnight stay, spacious rooms. Good parking place near the hotel.
The hotel is located near the highway.
I wouldn't stay long because it needs repairs (to renovate the hotel).

Friendly man helped us at late check in in the night.

Good location from motorway. Easy access to Montecassino Abbey. Plenty of parking. Rooms comfortable. Four reception staff of which 1 male was of no use whatsoever, the other 3 were excellent, friendly and very informative.
Sadly no restaurant as before. Breakfast was very scant. 1 male receptionist was useless ( kept telling me rubbish) the other 3 were brilliant. Air condition units were still on winter settings when every other 6 locations I had been to had summer settings.

very close to the highway - good option for a stopover during a long ride
wifi did not work properly. even though the hotel seemed very empty, it was incredibly loud during the night and in the morning. the supermarket next door is closed.

Good size room, with airco. Everything we needed.

Pros:
Quite clean, bed was large and very comfortable with excellent pillows, room size was good
Staff was pleasant and they gave us two complementary bottles of water as we were leaving, very gracious of them
Cons:
Wifi was not working through the night and was erratic during the morning hours before we left
Bath was clogged and water was pooling quite a bit
We did not mention these two items to the hotel while we stayed there as the staff did not speak English and the hour was late

Hotel was clean, easy to reach, and plenty of parking space. Kind personnel, and good value for money.
