Great location, central but quiet, unusual house, nice to stay in somewhere a bit different. Clear instructions to enter with codes. WiFi fine. Offer of room cleaning service daily

Sometimes it did smell of damp. The lack of ceiling or door for the toilet could be embarrassing, depending on your travel companion.

Great hotel with character. Great staff. Great location. Unfortunately, there was no policy for being respectful to other guests in the early morning hours regards noise. We were awoken at 3am and 4am by loud guests returning from a night out and who could not open their bedroom door. The bedrooms are open to the inner courtyard with no acoustic protection, hence sleepless nights!

It certainly is an unusual property, very beautiful architecturally. The owner was very attentive and helpful to address the couple of issues I had and for that I was very grateful.

I wasn’t keen on the design of the room that involved entering the room through the bathroom and as the sliding door between it and the bedroom did not close properly privacy was an issue. There are a variety of rooms so this probably only applied to one. Also there is a shared seating area that the ground floor rooms opened on to and it was quite noisy when folk returned in the evening.

Shower and toilet had no doors or ceilings...so little privacy..fine for solid travellers or couples hut could be uncomfortable for some people
