Great location - just a short walk to the beach and nature reserve, shops and restaurants. Loved the pool and jacuzzi! The amenities were also really great, and it also nice having a separate upstairs living area. It's the perfect family house for a holiday in Uvita. We only stayed the one night, as we were passing through, but could easily make it a base for a week or longer holiday.

What a lovely property, the perfect way to spend our last 3 days after covering a lot of ground in gorgeous Costa Rica in the previous 2 weeks. There are tonnes of facilities if you want to cook, lovely pool and jacuzzi and loads of bird life in the garden. The rooms were comfy with great views. I loved the shower with the view! Check in all very easy and the host let us come early as it was free the day before which was great.

It sounds lazy I know but we found it is a little far to walk to the beach on a hot day, but fine with a car.

The house was very well equipped with beautiful tranquil gardens and a good sized pool. Easy access to local amenities and in a lovely part of Costa Rica!

One of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. Beautiful well kept grounds with very nice pool. The house is beautifully decorated and has many well thought out features. Some rentals just have a few plates and some basic kitchen equipment but the Casa has everything you could possibly think of.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at! the villa is spacious, cozy and nicely decorated. the garden is stunning, plenty of plants and birds. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed and has two outdoor grills, cozy seats and hammocks, sun-heated jacuzzi and a swimming pool. location is excellent, 10 minutes walk from Ballena Marine National Park entrance, mini-market and several restaurants in the vicinity. wifi worked very well.

The location, cleanliness, and gardens at this property were unbelievable. The property truly is spectacular and beautiful. The gardens are breathtaking. The house itself is beautiful and just perfect. Communication with Ned (property owner) was exceptionable; he gave us recommendations and I felt like he was there to answer questions in a very timely manner - great guy. This property is a walking distance from the best beaches. We loved Playa Chaman and Uvita beaches. The house felt secure with our family of four, including our two young daughters. Air conditioning (a must!) was plentiful in both bedrooms - this was awesome! Hammocks, a pool, and jacuzzi on-side, plus an outdoor shower, was awesome. There's nobody to the side of this property except a field of a few cows - very private. Outdoor water spigot enabled us to wash off our feet before entering the home. Great covered porch gave us a place to dump sandy towels and stuff so we didn't have to bring it all inside. Towels provided by the host (thank you!) Also - a special note was the amazing Costa Rican coffee maker (coffee sock) at the home - we love coffee!! Thank you! Amazing property with an authentic feel of Costa Rica!

It seems like the warm water in the master bathroom might not be working. The water in the 2nd (hall) bathroom was way warmer. Might want to check that out.

The accommodation with private pool, jacuzzi, a bath and shower outside and a wonderful garden is an absolute paradise which we would highly recommend. The house is very spacious and very tastefully decorated with a lot of original details en wonderful places where you can relax and watch the life around you. A true place to breath. The owner Ned is very friendly and helpful.

This place was everything you think about when traveling to Costa Rica! Lovely home with windows everywhere which completely brings the outdoors in. Garden, pool, AC in the bedrooms for great sleeping at night. Little things we loved that were unexpected. Bluetooth speaker for use by the pool was a great bonus! Weights and workout bench if you so chose to use. We will be coming back to this place! One of the best places we’ve stayed in our many travels and the host was so great!!

This is one of the few properties that looks exactly like in the pictures, no false expectations, delivered all it promised. It is near to the beach but having a car is still a must if you want to go to the national park or any other attractions which is highly recommended for this location as the beach nearby is not as great. But otherwise is a great place with everything you need to hang out all day long. It was clean and bug free which means good maintenance, this is so difficult to find as owners don't seem to care about this anymore, but this property is well taken care of.

We would have definitely stayed more days, will have to do some savings to book the entire week next time and really enjoy the nearby attractions: national park, whale watching, manuel antonio, waterfalls, bike trails, etc.

Great house, all you need for a great vacation or workation!

We had trouble paying the owner by credit card. But he accepted us to pay by cash, which was possible after visiting several ATMs.
