The staff ( especially Mr Rajeev at the reception), turned out to be a very insensitive person. My guest ( who was traveling from Bangladesh ), was treated in a very racist and insensitive way. He was literally told that the hotel needs to inform the police and the police will conduct routine check of the profile, before they can allow him to checkin. And all this happened at midnight, when my guest had travelled all the way from Mysore to Bangalore after a meeting and was supposed to take a morning flight out of Bangalore. Even on calling the hotel, I don't think Mr Rajeev was remotely apologetic to the way he conducted this whole check-in process. I had to ask him to send an apology to my guest and help provide him with anything complimentary which he can to fix the fiasco. I am not sure if he did, but sad that I had to call up and suggest what should be done, whereas this should be done without question in the very first place. The overall checkin process was horrible and took almost an hour at midnight before my guest was allowed to checkin. I am really surprised (Shocked actually) with this kind of behavior from a property like Taj. I guess the staff is not doing justice to the brand and needs to be immediately replaced to ensure these kind of situations are not repeated ever. We talk so high about the hospitality of a brand like Taj to our international guests, and these experiences are not just damaging for us personally, but also for the country (when people share these experiences about racism/unprofessionalism they faced in India, when they travel places) Happy to provide more details if anyone from Taj Sr.Leadership teams reaches to me over direct email. I needed somewhere to go for a long airport layover. It was a last minute decision to book the hotel and I am so glad we did. At check in, I was concerned about being far away from the pool in the West Wing but Anushka fixed all that. She couldn’t have known about my position in the travel industry from the bedraggled, sweat-stained way I presented at her counter, yet she did the perfect industry thing and upgraded me to club level for my 10 hour stay since I would be checking out in time to sell the room for the next round of international arrivals. I commend her for this excellent service. I have always had a good experience with Taj, but this stay goes above and beyond all others thanks to her simple act. They even sent a car to get me from the terminal when my travel weary mind could not figure out how to get there the free way. This hotel had the absolute best most gigantic pool I have ever seen. So amazing and refreshing after a long day in the heat!!

Breakfast was top class

Maintenance issues. AC in one of the rooms not working. Mini Bar was not stocked at all. There was no rubbish bin in the room for some reason.

Que no se abren las ventanas. La música de la piscina de muy mal gusto, ruidos en horario de descansar. Como si fuera una fiesta peor no había nadie, una pena. A parte que el personal de mantenimiento se puso a cambiar las cosas de sitio y cortar el césped a las dos de la tarde, en mi opinión son cosas que se hacen cuando no hay gente tomando el sol tratando de descansar

Location to Airport drop and taking morning flight was easy. Wonderful staff as always because it's Taj

Room rate was too high. Chose hotel to drop off family at 3 am flight. Took my flight at 6 am. I checked in at 10pm and left by 5 am but had to pay 20k. Should have rooms for such short stay if possible. Ideally if if it was 10K it would have been good
