It's located perfectly, I saw no better located place than this. Why? It's right in the middle of the national park on the main trail going through the park, with the more forested areas being around the hotel rather than Hrensko. It also has a very atmospheric restaurant with a great terrace overlooking the park. Next to that the staff was really lovely; I felt like being a guest in a very nice and warm family home.

The fact that Hrensko is for some reason overflooded with asian stalls selling weird AliExpress stuff haha. But that has nothing to do with this hotel and is actually one more reason to stay in this hotel in Mezna rather than Hrensko.

Great renovated resort with good rooms, comfortable beds, nice reach breakfast, everything you need in a quite village at the heart of the Bohemian Switzerland. Easy and automated check-in process, I like digital locks on all doors.

there is no stove in the 3 bedroom apartment, but microwave is there. actually 3 bedroom apartment is a 2 bedroom (or 3+KK in Czech terms), with one separate bedroom, another triple bed on an open mezzanine, and double bed in the living room, but that is a comfortable and clean, with separate bathroom in both areas.

Good, delicious breakfast. Clean, quite room. Very good food in a restaurant. Enough space to park your car. It's located at the beggining of most popular trails, so it's really close. Quiet, green and isolated location.

To the closest shop you need to walk a little. Staff speaks only German and Czech, they don't speak English. I could say thay staff is a little bit unprofessional - I've ordered dinner, waiting for it for almost an hour, so walk to them asking what's wrong and turned out they forgot about me and in the meantime kitchen got closed, so I haven't got anything to eat ;/ It happened only once, but really upset me.

The location is great - in the mountains with a lot of fresh air. The restaurant service is also very good and the staff extremely polite and helpful. It is a great spot for travellers along the Elberadweg who wish to explore the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. We would definitely come back.

The great potential of the whole hotel is spoilt by the waiter who is prejudiced against Polish people. At the very beginning, the waiter pointed out to us that we had arrived late even though we had kept the hotel informed of our lateness. On the phone, the owner was very friendly, nothing said that this would be any problem, especially when the entrance to the hotel is through a given digital code. If the reason to his laugh is our request to pour hot water into a thermos, you can imagine that for him the reason to call the police is to close the door a little louder.

We had a room with no toilet in it and it was not very comfortable. But for one night it’s okay.

Perfect location to explore the beautiful Bohemian part of the National Park and very good value for the money. We have stayed in this hotel several times over several years and witnessed how the quality of the rooms was constantly improving. This time we were in the newly renovated House B that is very comfortable, clean and modern. It has an online check-in system, so one get a code for entering the house and the room before the arrival. No need to be dependent on the opening hours of the desk. Our room was below the rooftop and still offered enough space to feel comfy, the air inside was fresh despite the heat wave of +35 Celsius. The House A has a restaurant with a large open terrace overlooking the woods and the Kamnitz Gorge. It is a great place to have the morning and evening meals. Breakfast was fresh and various, there is a coffee machine. Hotel staff speaks German and English, they were friendly and helpful. The parking lot near the houses has enough place for all guests and restaurant visitors. All in all, it is a very peaceful, relaxing, easy-going place close to nature that helps one to turn off their minds. It is very sad that on the day of our planned departure a big forest fire broke out in the neighborhood, and in a couple of days the entire village of Mezná had to be evacuated. We are deeply saddened by these events, but relieved to learn that the hotel buildings and grounds are not damaged. Hopefully its operation will be resumed soon! We stayed in the region and found many great hiking routes nearby (Jetřichovice) that are intact and allowed to be visited. Fingers crossed that the entire National Park will be accessible soon, we are looking forward to visiting Mezná again.

The Wi-Fi connection was flaky.

I have been staying twice in Resort Mezna. Location is perfect for spending time alone, with friends or family with kids. It was really clean, place is very well maintained. We had a separate fridge, wifi, air conditioner, possibly to make tea/ coffee in the room and a TV. Staff is kind and professional.

The restaurant can improve the vegetarian/ vegan menu. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about.

Very clean and new room even in the village, breakfast included since it's not easy to find shops here, good for a hiking start point and free parking
