다다미를 느껴봄 비지니스호텔보다 넓음. 사찰체험하는(?) 호텔답게 들어가자마자 향냄새가 훅 남(방에 들어가면 안남). 체크아웃하는 날 조식 추가해서 먹고 공항 갔는데 괜찮았음 정갈하게 나오는 채식 정진요리 한번쯤 먹어볼만했음

Solo estuvimos una noche y no nos ha dado tiempo a tener una critica muy elaborada. En general nos encantó. Habitación muy bonita, cómoda y práctica. El hotel cuida cada detalle.

We stayed for 2 days in the double room. Pros: nice, clean room, looks nice and simple when you step in, they have a small fridge, tea, slippers, and usual bathroom amenities, they have a priest or monk that comes in once a day but we were busy around that time. Really friendly staff, they greet you when you come in, go out, try to help, etc.

Cons: the room was a bit small, bathroom smelled humid and musky the 2 days we were there, it was also small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around, put products down, etc. Really bad WiFi that cut out a lot, No laundry machines in the building, check out was an hour earlier than usual, bed and especially the pillow were horribly uncomfortable and flat, didn't enjoy that at all and didn't feel like I slept well, the area doesn't have anything and it's a bit of a walk to the 7-11,lawson,etc, as well as the subway was a 10-minute min walk, it got a little loud at times as some motorcycles and loud cars frequent the area. Overall, didn't love it here, I loved the staff and it's a nice building and overall concept but the rooms were lacklustre for the cost and the area was inconvenient to get around in the last days we were there, I would recommend a bigger room for anyone staying with 2 people min if you don't mind the area.

It is a very quite and comfortable buddhist hostel, run by people from a local monastary. The vegan buddhist breakfast is very tasty and the staff very attentive. They speak good English. The room was comfortable with good beds and nice bathroom.

The location is not the best in Osaka, but is close to a good district with lots of restaurants.

Friendly staff excellent customer service. Place was clean and breakfast was very good.

Staffs here are friendly and keen to offer their hands. And most importantly, they can speak English. It’s especially a relief for me and travelers who knows little about Japanese language.

It’s very unique. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean and we loved the beds.

There is nothing to say. We probably were not completely ready to have the authentic breakfast, but we enjoyed the new tastes and the experience. It was very interesting and at the end we had soumen noodles, that was great!

It could be closer to other attractions in Osaka.

This is a unique accommodation somewhere between a hotel and a shukubō (buddhist temple stay). You can try some buddhist trainings such as Zazen and copying sutras, while the room was super comfortable. Also, there were a wide range of books about Buddhism and Japanese culture in the lobby (books are written in Japanese).

Everything was super clean, and the rooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. The location is rather quiet, but is not far away from all the fun. There were free meditation sessions which I unfortunately could not join.

If you are not into vegan Buddhist food, I would not recommend the breakfast. But is a matter of taste 😉

This place is a perfect combination of esthetic, authentic appeal and state of the art technology. A quiet, beautiful place where guests are treated with utmost respect. Just perfect !

The staff were all very kind and helpful. The room was clean and more spacious than I'd expected too.

The slow speed of the internet was a bit of a downer since I had to complete some work during my stay and I'd always be waiting for the internet to catch up to what I was doing.

I loved the zazen session. Staff were always available to help. Great care of details in the bedroom and common areas.

Great minimalistic design. Spacious by Japanese standards. Meditations and shojin-rori set the mood right. Lots of sights at walking distance, pleasant neighborhood.

Not many restaurants nearby

Onyado is a serious gem of a tranquil hotel that I recommend travelers to stay for at least 1 night. To break away from the hustle & bustle of proper Osaka. Though only a 18 minute walk to downtown Osaka, one can even stay here their whole visit in Osaka. This would be considered somewhat of a Buddhist, Meditation Stay, though none of it is pushed onto guests. They offer evening meditations which was a true delight to experience, with a lovely lovely monk who lead us through meditation practice. Breakfast is outstanding & so nutritious. Staff is ZEN, helpful and so sweet. It is located on a super quiet street with some Temples and Cemeteries to visit. 8 minute walk takes you to Old town area with tons of restaurants, cafes, bars and action. The Osaka City Zoo is also 15 minute walk away. Really an enjoyable, peaceful stay. You come out feeling truly refreshed and revived.

The bathroom lacks ventilation, which fogs & steams up the whole room. You have to leave your hotel door open for awhile after showering to air out. The location was very difficult to find. The Hotel name does not show up on Google Maps, and the address provided on the booking sites took me in circles. Hopefully the Hotel staff will improve this issue.
