On the outside Hotel am Ochsentor looks rather small, but once inside it shows that behind the facade there is a lovely medium sized boutique hotel. The room was not huge, but the right size. An excellent bath room. All very new and modern. The hotel is within the medieval city wall. The breakfast in a really nicely decorated room was great, the buffet offered much choice. Freshly made coffee was served swiftly by the staff. Parking garage was spacious and well lit and looked like it had been brought on-line the week before, that clean. Location could not be better, about 100 meters from the Marktplatz where there are some nice terraces where you can have beer of a cup of coffee. A 10 minute walk will take you to the Rhine.

Good place to stay @Andernach. Pleasant breakfast, kind staff, good location, clean and worthy. Not a typical chain hotel rather a boutique hotel embedded in a good gastronomy and enoteca.

Good equipped modern rooms in the centre of Andernach. Very good restaurants in the hotel + within 200m. Own parking facility under the hotel (8€ per day).

It was very hot in the room 23,5 degrees, the airco did not work so I asked several times to put it on and every time they just opened the windows.
