Ein altes Steinhaus in der Toskana - wer träumt nicht davon... Hier kann man darin übernachten. Wunderschön gelegen, eine alte Mühle, liebevoll restauriert. Das Frühstück ist -besonders für italienische Verhältnisse- einfach der Hammer! Man darf weder die Hörnchen noch den Schokokuchen verpassen. Besser geht es nicht! Dann ein leckeres Rührei -natürlich frisch zubereitet- und guten Kaffee und Saft dazu. Das ganze wir von zwei freundlichem, gut gelaunten Damen serviert. Fühlt ich authentisch und sehr gastfreundlich an. Der Garten steht zur Mitbenutzung bereit - sollte man nicht auslassen! Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll gemacht. Schöne Materialien, dezent eingerichtet. Spitze! Wir durften sogar unser eAuto dort im Hof laden. Mir fällt einfach nichts negatives ein

ahh doch: einen kleinen Punkt habe ich: Die Zufahrt ist abenteuerlich. Sehr schmale Straße, kurvig und nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Wir sind zuerst in die falsche sehr enge Einfahrt gefahren und dort mit viel lautstarker, temperamentvoller "Hilfestellung" der Nachbarn wieder raus gekommen. Ein kleines Abenteuer zum Auftakt, auch wieder irgendwie sympathisch... Wenn man die Straße 2-3x gefahren ist, ist es unkritisch, aber anfangs schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Darf man sich nicht von abschrecken lassen: Das Haus ist diese Zufahrt wert!

Excellent breakfast served outside. Very nice amenities. Excellent design and relaxing atmosphere in the garden. The rooms look exactly as in the pictures posted on booking.com. The venue could be a good choice for small events or wedding reception.

The location could be a small downside if you don't have a car, bur still a very good choice considering that we were commuting daily to the beach in Viareggio. It's a pity that sidewalk is not available in the village, but would be even more difficult to access the accommodation as the roads are very narrow. Would have appreciated the change of the towels during our 3 nights stay.

Food was very good. The natural surroundings and the way the building had been developed with sensitivity to its environment were lovely.

I had hoped for a view from the room that was not onto another building but this is a minor issue. I'd suggest if the eco/sustainability rating is of real concern to the place that single-use plastic shampoo sachets get replaced with large refillable bottles

Staff was extremely kind and professional

The breakfast options were a bit limited

We stayed one night, and surely planning to go back if we’ll be visiting that area of Tuscany. They upgraded our room for free upon our arrival, that was a pleasant surprise. The room is essential, bedroom and bathroom, it is all tidy and perfectly clean. I loved the decorations, the parfume of the room, every detail is taken care of. The bed is very comfortable and the fact that it is in the middle of the hills makes it a very silent and quiet night; beautiful. Also, wifi was fast and did not have any issue (not for granted!!). Breakfast was great and portions were more than enough, I loved their own fresh products like honey and jam. A great little place to spend the night!
