The location is just a few minutes walk from Assi Ghat and the staff are very friendly. They also have a nice area on the top floor to work and/or look out over the river.

The dorm room was not the cleanest and opened out onto a block housing other families. There were no glass-paned or mesh-covered windows, which means we often have mosquitos coming into the room in the night.

Unfortunately a lot mosquitos in the room it was really had rd to fell asleep as well as because of construction works at the local buildings.

I have no words to discribe this terrible experience: - The room was full of mold - The edredom was used by other people and was not washed. It smelled and had no sheet to cover. -wifi didnt work -Supposedly breakfast was included, but when we asked for it, they gave us a slice of bread with mold

I had booked a family room, and i was not dissppointed. The room was spacious, bright, and had two windows, one of them with a view to Ganga. The bed was comfortable. There was a tv, with a very good selection of channels. The bathroom was big and had a really good shower with lots of hot water. The location of the guest house is very good., in a quiet, hidden lane in walking distance to both Assi and Lanka, and anything you need is just a few minutes away. The family who owns the guest house are all very sweet and friendly, and the chai i received upon my arrival was among the best i’ve ever had in India.

There was a carpet on the floor in the room which was very dirty, so that is one of the very few reasons for why i couldn’t give a full score. The other thing is that i had booked a room with breakfast included, but there was no breakfast, and no one asked me if i wanted it either.
