Our family of 5 had a great stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking a few simple meals. The 2nd floor floors were squeaky. We’d love to stay at this unit again!

We have rented from LoonRes many times in the past and this was the worst property we have ever had for a summer rental. Some "highlights": Tobacco stink in the downstairs and bedrooms; filthy carpets; filthy and worn kitchen and bathroom floors; cracked/leaking bathroom fixtures; torn, busted and missing screens; unopenable windows; food encrusted pots and pans; overflowing rain gutters sending water pouring through the few windows we could get open; an unusable back deck that had no shade and was unusable when the sun was on it; a broken stove with hazard warnings on it in the living rooms, etc. etc. The only good thing we can say about the property is that it was not actively infested with bedbugs or vermin. Certainly NOT worth the premium rental rate we were charged. We are not certain that we will trust LoonRes for ANY future vacation rentals in the White Mountains

Under 10 minutes from the South Peak of Loon Mountain and close to the Woodstock Inn and Brewery. Townhouse is a little outdated but it got the job done! Some updates on the property are needed but if you’re looking for plenty of space close to the mountain, it’ll fit the bill.

My family has rented homes in NH for over 40 years so when you rent a home, you have to have some flexibility. However, our unit doesn’t look like it was updated since it was built. There were stains on the carpets, rips in living room furniture/pillows, an unidentifiable odor in the living room, crumbs and debris under the furniture cushions, no set of dishes, holes in window screens so you couldn’t open them, a low futon bed mattress instead of a listed full size bed, and poor quality mattresses in trundle beds. This list could go on. This unit needs an overhaul!

We made the location work. No AC throughout the house. Advertised with two parking spaces there was only one. We found potato chips on one of the dining table’s chair. The set up in the town house was outdated and the beds were super uncomfortable and old. No AC’s in any of the room so if you are staying during the summer you will be hot. We had to ask for more fans. Freezer door was broken when we arrived and had to get someone to fix it. We were a group of 10 and not enough trash bags or toilet paper were provided. They best part about the place was that the kitchen was stacked with all the essentials to cook a full blown meal. That was good.

I love Alpine Village condo complex, but this unit has a few problems.
Gym membership: we were given two "passes" for 10 people each, but actually the owners have a family membership at Nordic Inn. When we wanted to use a swimming pool/sauna, we were told that the owner/property managers completely aware the membership doesn't apply to renters.
Communication: no internet access, a broken landline phone, no T-Mobile reception, luckily our friends have Verizon – it works.
Property condition: worn out towels and dirty looking carpets, a full bed is actually a futon, a diner table sit 6 people and a light over the dinner table flickers for a few moments before turning on and then begins flickering again after a couple of hours of being turned on.

It was a nice property with everything which a person would need. We had a nice time in the house. With its proximity to the national parks and the scenic byways, it was very accessible. The only downside to this place is that there are only a couple of bathrooms and hence delayed us a wee bit in getting ready for the day.

The property adequately fit our large group. The unit itself is fairly dated as others mentioned but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the wood stove but we had to buy our own wood which the rental company reimbursed us for. No Wifi. No wine glasses. The 2nd bathroom is far from the bedrooms on the first floor but is needed if you have a full house. Very convenient to Woodstock. We never saw a shuttle to the mountain so had to drive to Loon. Good large condo if you have a big group and not looking for anything fancy.

We have been renting with your service for years.. And this year we were less than satisfied.. we feel that the property is overpriced for the condition it is in... Old furniture.. Uncomfortable beds... We spend over $1900.00 for 4 nights. The property should have been better for that price.

The property was fine for our needs. It could definitely use some updating and wasn't as clean as we had hoped when we got there. We had to call for the cleaning people to come back since several of the floors had dirt on them. The location was fine. Beds were quite uncomfortable and many could use new mattresses.
