It was a great pick for our week long stay in Gaeta. I loved the location and the possibility to cook. The apartment is neat and old school, felt like a very authentic local experience. Every morning one could get fresh pastry, fish or greens just around the corner. The owners kindly helped us arrange the transfer to and from the train station and responded to most of our other requests during our stay.

Small ants in the kitchen. Hopefully the owners took care of it by now. They were quite responsive to all our requests.

The apartment is located in a very quiet area in an interesting and densely packed quarter of the city--the only thing you hear are church bells. It is centrally located for all the shops and restaurants and makes you feel like a local. The apartment itself is lovingly restored and decorated with nautical motifs and antique tiles and has a comfortable bed and sofa. Signora Francesca is a very friendly and conscientious hostess and she will make sure that you have everything you need and that you enjoy your stay. Breakfast is at a bar around the corner and they are also very accommodating. The historic center is within walking distance, as is Monte Orlando.
