Booked a nice getaway and this location was perfect, 100 yard walk to the ski lift. Will be coming back again!

I would highly recommend this place as a family option. The room/ condo is spacious and provided with all needed items. You just need to bring your suitcase. Clean and comfortable. The only downside to the village is the limited dining options.

The unit was spotless and very well stocked. We loved the tall ceilings and abundant natural light. The property manager was helpful and responsive. It's an ideal place to relax in Northstar!

The Village at Northstar is really nice and contained. This location was close to everything. It's a short walk to the Big Springs lift and all the restaurants.

Very nice property. Condo was very clean and amenities were more than anticipated. Only issue was with the check in process as we had to do it after hours due to delayed flights. Property is huge so in the dark it was hard to find the alternate check in and at first the desk was not manned. He showed up a little later and then the check in process was smooth.

I am super picky about the cleanliness of where we stay. This was top notch!!! We have 3 teenage boys that were on the slopes from 8-5 everyday. The location was perfect for the entire family! My preteen daughter and I loved the pottery/candle making in the village. This unit had everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location!
I am super picky about the cleanliness of where we stay. This was top notch!!! We have 3 teenage boys that were on the slopes from 8-5 everyday. The location was perfect for the entire family! Fantastic location within Northstar Village
We were in Northstar to introduce a 6 year old to skiing for the first time. The ability to quickly get from the room to the ski school helped everything go well and cemented a love for skiing. Couldn't have worked better! She asked if we could rent the same place for another trip next year. Condo was spacious and clean and was a great place to relax after a long day on the slopes.

This was a nice property, especially being on the top floor of Iron Horse North. Everything was well stocked --could use a few more dishtowels, but all was perfect for a last-minute ski vacation.

Accommodations don’t get more convenient Iron Horse 306 North in Northstar Village. Private covered parking, great amenities and proximity to all of the food and shopping opportunities in the village are all bonus add-ones to the big win of walking out the front door of the the Iron Horse building into the lift line for Tahoe’s best ski hill. Our family of five was more than comfortable in Iron Horse 306–it had everything we needed to enjoy the pre-ski and apres ski time we spent at Northstar.

Accommodations don’t get more convenient Iron Horse 306 North in Northstar Village. Private covered parking, great amenities and proximity to all of the food and shopping opportunities in the village are all bonus add-ones to the big win of walking out the front door of the the Iron Horse building into the lift line for Tahoe’s best ski hill. Our family of five was more than comfortable in Iron Horse 306–it had everything we needed to enjoy the pre-ski and apres ski time we spent at Northstar.

Retreat in Northstar (Pre Season)
Great property in the heart of Northstar Village. We went up even though we knew that there were going to be some closures (due to COVID) to things like the hot tub, pool table, etc. We have been up there several times and enjoy how you park the car and don't have to hop back in until your trip is done.
We love the full kitchen and the fireplace for hanging out to socialize, play board games or read a book. Internet access was fast and I did several zoom meetings between runs on the slopes.
The master bed was one of the more comfortable ones I've stayed on and the clean crisp mountain air and physical activity each day added to the comfy bed. Kids bed was a bunk with a full on bottom and twin up top and had a desk in the room in case we needed for distance learning.
Original plan was to spend a Sunday-Sunday up there. Whole family was up on Sunday, I stayed during the week and the family was coming back Thursday/Friday for the weekend. Unfortunately, Governor Newsome shut down the lodging and I was called on Wednesday stating I needed to leave by Friday night. What a difficult phone call for a property owner to make! However, they did it with class and we worked together to make the best of a difficult situation.
You can't ask for more than that! They handled things great, we will be staying here again and you will be happy picking this property!

Perfect home away from home
With Covid a priority concern, the property was amazingly clean! Lots of care was put into making sure the condo was as clean as possible. Fully equipped with all the necessity for you to cook, clean and enjoy your time at Northstar. Great big TV for the kids. The nice size bunk with a trundle bed was perfect for my 3 kids. Comfortable master and linen. Garage parking space was nice. Highly recommended!! We will be back!

Great condo in the village
This is our second time in this condo. The condo itself is perfect for a family, is clean, modern and functional. It's right in the village, which is fantastic, if you have kids at ski school for example. Also you can park your car in the garage below the building, which is great, given the parking situation in Northstar.
The property manager is great. Very responsive and nice. We were when the resort was shutdown (covid-19), and Lauren was just perfect. Initially we wanted to stay longer when we heard the schools were closing, so she found us a place in the villages and then, just a few hours later we had to cancel due to the resort closing.
We will definitely rent this condo (or another managed by the same team) again.

Perfect place for winter getaway
So convenient for skiing- room was amazing, great location, clean and fully stocked. Only downside was the on site check in process is confusing and not easy find fir 1st time visitors.

Tahoe-tastic
this property was better than home away from home! 2 bedrooms were both very comfortable. common kitchen , dining, living areas were all very nicely appointed & decorated. ski storage downstairs, put boots on and the shortest walk ever to gondola. nothing left to do but eat, drink & be merry!!! we wish our stay could have been a few days longer to enjoy the village more.

Iron horse north 306
Great location and condo for a family vacation. Walk to the lifts and all the amenities of the village. Only downside was the strong smell of Indian cooking from the prior guests that permeated the entire condo including the bedroom sheets when we arrived. This was better after we aired out the place but still present for the duration of our stay unfortunately in all the bedroom sheets and pillows (and our clothes!). Otherwise, outstanding place! I'd have no reservations about staying here again.

Catamount 406 review
Did not stay at Iron Horse North 306. We were moved to Catamount 406, due to construction in Iron Horse area.
Catamount 406 was a great place, with exception of bright lights outside master bedroom that illuminate the room all night.

Comfortable, spacious condo at Northstar
The unit is very comfortable overall with a spacious master suite and separate guest bedroom. The kitchen and living room were well equipped. We had a slight hiccup with unexpected construction happening outside the unit and the team at the rental agency was very helpful and responsive. My only constructive feedback is that you can hear a fair amount of hallway noise when you’re sitting in the living room, but this wasn’t a problem in the bedrooms. Overall would definitely return. The location, comfort level and proximity to shops and gondolas were a good combo.

Great Convenient Tahoe Condo
We loved our stay on this property, and we had great service from Lauren Mills. The place was roomy, very clean, had comfortable beds, and everything you need in the full-size kitchen.
The village location couldn't be more convenient: mere steps to the Gondola, ski school and rental shops, plus all of the eateries, boutiques and the ice skating rink are right there. Having the ski/snowboard locker in the entry of the building was an added bonus.
We will definitely request this property again.

We always like staying in this complex, but this unit has Christmas like lights directly outside the bedroom windows that never turn off at night, and the blinds let the light come in like piercing rays, all night long! Also, put a handheld shower head inso people don’t get beat up by water spouting.
