Fabulous view.
Air conditioning was very inadequate!

Beautiful setting overlooking the city and the interior hallways and public seating areas retain their earlier elegance.
The room was very warm as the air conditioning was rather inefficient. The Wi-Fi is poor but they are honest and let you know this upfront. Much better in public area.

Good breakfast, clean simple rooms, nice sitting areas on 1st floor. Views of Rome were unexpectedly clear. Staff is professional and courteous.
Hotel has beautiful grounds that could use better upkeep.

Beautiful and wonderful garden
I had a very old room with thick carpet and very poor lights. Iasked for an extra pillow which was not in the wardrobe. I also asked for a couple of disposable slippers but they didn’t have any. Also breakfast was not great

The beds were a bit hard

fab view. good shower. excellent breakfast of a long length.
limited taxis. no shuttle and a VERY steep walk back up from town. impossibly for old/unfit/I’ll etc. stayed 4 nights and had forced to walk back 3 times - once in the rain up a steep cobbled hill.

Nice building, lovely gardens and views. Good breakfast.
Bath room toilet rim dirty as was bidet faucet. Staff at front desk didn't smile and not very welcoming. Air con didn't work. No restaurant. There is a bar but only for snacks and drinks. Beware hotel is on a really steep hill, we walked to town for dinner expecting to get a taxi back but ended up walking back as no taxis or Ubers available. Be nice if either hotel could do food or provide shuttle to and from centre.

The villa is grand, luxurious and has a very intersting history. We loved the amazing views and walking around the lovely property. The breakfast was very generous with a wide variety of delicious offerings.

Clean with lovely views . nice staff.
no hot water, no plug for bath, no restaurant available for evening meal, bar snacks only, sandwich or salad , very limited menu. pool not available , poor soundproofing , plumbing to wc noisy for 20 mins after flush. creepy pictures in bedrooms. taxi needed to get to nearest restaurant 2km away, approx cost 20 euros one way. shortage of taxis to get to hotel from train station. we waited 45 mins despite phoning two taxis.

Amazing view either from the room and also from the garden, where we saw a great sunset.
Bed wasn't comfortable.

The stuff was friendly and customer oriented.
Is hard to say about the facility that is a 4 star villa. The building is very big, with more than 90 rooms and from the first look you realize that his time has passed. There was a strong strange smell in the rooms, impossible to sleep without open windows. The air conditioner system low performance, and cheap furniture and mattress Breakfast area, rudimentary equiped with dirty windows and lack of service.

Nothing.
I stayed at the Villa Tuscolana from June 3-June 5th during my trip to Frascati. This review has been delayed for some time because the Hotel Management ensured me that there was no need to write a review and they would right their wrongs internally. This turned out not to be the case.
On the second evening of my stay, June 4th, an electrical occurred at the property. I was only alarmed of this fire because of the smoke that started to fill my room through the vents. There was no smoke or fire alarm to warn guests of what was occurring. I evacuated the property only to see the hotel staff had already evacuated the building without any warning to their patrons or guests. After 4 hours waiting for the fire department to put out the fire and clear the damage I was told that It was safe to go back and sleep in my room. This was not the case as my room had been filled with ash and smoke from the fire, ruining and damaging all of my personal belongings that I left behind when evacuating. I was told by hotel management that I should “open a window” and wait for the smoke to clear out which is clearly not safe after a serious fire. By this time it was the middle of the night and I was shocked at the lack of respect the hotel owners and management team had.
Over the course of the past two months the Hotel management team has responded to my emails with very little consideration or effort in compensating me for my items that were ruined from the ash and smoke. They have said they were “waiting for insurance” and that the fire was not their fault. They have now decided to not respond to my messages at all, confirming my feelings over the past months that they had no real intention in helping me with this horrible stay.

It had a lovely atmosphere, and was very comfortable. I was there for a wedding and the food at the venue was delicious!
It would have been great to have been able to use the pool, or to have an alternative place to relax on sun lounger outdoors when the pool isn’t available. I would also have appreciated being able to access an iron during my stay.

Breakfast was okay even thou there are no varieties to choose from. Everyday it's the same type of meal for the duration of my stay there.
The Wifi should have been better in connectivity
