Wonderful stay in Lecce in a location out of a storybook!
The value is excellente with delicious breakfasts every morning and great amenities (AC, excellente bedding, shampoo....).
The place is walking distance to downtown and to my favorite place to eat (Pizza&Co)

The Palazzo Bernardini was the best B&B experience I've had. The magical and almost mystical place made our experience that much better in the region. It was an exceptional stay that I would highly recommend to anyone. I can't wait to go back.

Spectacular high ceilinged rooms in a grand old house. Excellent central location but also very quiet, no traffic noise at night. Comfortable bed in a huge room full of books and pictures.
Hard to find if arriving at night, local streets are very narrow.

Wonderful location on quiet street just around the corner from the Duomo and main pedestrian / shopping street. Large room with sitting area and balcony to a beautiful courtyard plus a shared terrace. Plentiful, traditional Lecce breakfast that was very good. The decor is an antique lovers dream (unfortunately that is not me) and history abounds in everything you see - definitely a loved family home! Also, a very gracious owner who gave guests a small token of thanks for staying!
Directions for checking in were not very clear - no signage, etc. but luckily the host was working off the courtyard and got us checked in.... The bed was not super comfortable.

The Bernardini family is an institution in Lecce and it was a pleasure to meet Isabella, the Marchesa who owns and runs the property. It’s historic contents alone are well worth the visit, which was enhance by the welcome from Isabella and Ioannis. Good breakfast ( and consideration given to my gluten free request) and well appointed rooms. Brilliant location close to Duomo.

This was truly an exceptional place to stay. It's an old palazzo in the city centre, with beautiful furnishings and lots of family history apparent in the rooms. We felt as if it was an immense privilege to share this lovely old residence with the delightful and welcoming owners. They were also very helpful in guiding us through the challenge of driving via the narrow streets to reach the property which is right in the historic centre. Parking was in the palazzo courtyard. The breakfast was excellent too.

Charming, historic home full of amazing character. Our host was helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. Private parking is available if needed- a huge plus in the historic area. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful city.

An elegant Palace with lots of history and beautiful decor and collectibles.
Parking was difficult because the entryway into the courtyard where you park is extremely narrow.

An extraordinary place – a beautiful old home filled with many lovely and interesting artworks and antique objects, in which was our spacious room and bathroom, and a charming small terrace overlooking a garden. We were greeted cordially and helpfully, and the cordiality was extended throughout our stay.
A very minor thing – the Palazzo was a little hard to find because the street changes direction and we were coming from a direction that made it hard to figure that out. If this could be made more clear ahead of time, it would be helpful.

Incredible house, just beautiful. Staying in a real palace which is at the same time a family home so cozy and full of memories. Loved it. Host was super kind and thoughtful, breakfast was delicious.

The palazzo is like a very very big apartment situated on one floor in a beautiful building. I have never seen anything like it with all the rooms filled with art and books! I loved it. Mr Davilis is very helpful. Early in the morning of our departure he came to our room with a breakfast tray.

It was a privilege to stay at the Palazzo Bernardino Suites as the owner Isabella warmly welcomed us into her beautiful home full of treasured family art & furniture collections.
Our Junior suite with small balcony was large and extremely comfortable complete with a sofa and armchairs. Artworks adorned the walls. A good breakfast was served in the dining room by the competent and helpful Janis.
The location was excellent and close to bars and restaurants.
