The two female staff members were incredible! So helpful and offered some of the best hospitality we have ever experienced. The room and facilities were incredibly cosy, warm, and well positioned for skiing. The traditional breakfast was divine! Laundry facilities also very handy. Definitely will stay here again next trip! The traditional rooms were a beautiful touch.

Traditional style hotel with on-site (indoor) onsen. Can buy lift tickets at reception. Close to both the Nagano bus and the local shuttle buses. Solid breakfast served by enthusiastic and helpful staff.

Exceptional, extremely helpful staff made this stay a great pleasure. The ski room and onsen are very welcome if you're here to ski. And the breakfast was tasty and very filling.

The decor is a bit dated.

Nice hotel in the middle of town. OK to walk to the slope if you dont want to wait for the buses. Very nice an helpful staf/owner of the hotel. Great breakfast, a mix of international and Japanese, loved it.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms with all necessities, Onsen available at property and best of all - location! 5 min walk to Happo One Bus stop and ca 10 mins walk to Ski lift!

it is very central in Happo and the owner take takes care of you with such varm and friendly feeling that you don’t want to leave! Thank you Noriko and Hisako for a great visit!

The ladies at reception were always so lovely and helpful, we felt extremely comfortable there. We also loved staying in the traditional Japanese room, it felt very authentic.

The traditional Japanese beds were not too comfortable, particularly after a day on the slopes, but we understood that it is all part of the experience!
