great stay on a lovely island. apartment is perfectly situated above the the town of Gaios. balcony off the bedrooms gets the morning sun. the side balcony perfect for breakfast and watching the sunset!
water left in the fridge was very considerate.

mosquito nets on the windows and doors and plug in killers in the room.
as we were stay in mid September it wasn’t super hot at night so no need for air conditioning.
whilst the position afforded incredible views it was abit of a steep trek…down to town or to the port or to get the bus. although some of the buses go passed the property and the driver will drop you off if you ask.

The house is in a beautiful location with lovely views from both balconies. The accommodation is extremely well equipped and the host are helpful and friendly and keep the accommodation spotless.

Perfect location Witt an amazing view. Felt incredibly lucky to stay here. Was homely. Incredibly clean and a fantastic outdoor space. Was not expecting the rooms to be cleaned each day either. Gaios btw is a beautiful town and we think the best spot to stay in. Whilst the walk into town was easy, the walk back is steep and def needs a moderate level of fitness. And the driveway is crazy steep so we parked our hire car at the bottom.

The most magnificent view overlooking Gaios Bay!! huge big balcony with a swing!! and going all around to the 2 bedrooms! Air conditioned!! + 2 baths -enormous living room- kitchen space!!
The hosts Marina & her parents Nikos & Viktoria went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as can be and they were like a Family away from home to me! they even called to check up on me if all was Ok on the 1st night as I was late arriving back at the apartment that night ( I was busy shopping thru the Gaios town ofcourse! ) You will love the huge apartment and killer views!!!! and the 3-5minute walk to Gaios town!! Thank you for an incredible stay at Gaios- Paxoi!!

Wonderful location high above Gaios with a lovely shaded terrace and the best view of the town, the bay and the mountains of the mainland beyond. Marina and her father Nikos were very helpful on everything from taxi transfers to boat rental. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with strong WiFi. Lots of cats, especially when we cooked fish or chicken.
Being within walking distance of Gaios was great, especially given the various excellent tavernas and bars. Do try Vasili’s (especially Mum’s Moussaka) and the grapefruit spritzer at Porto Vecchio. The supermarket next to Kalimera bar is well-stocked and reasonable. The other one charges tourist prices.
No great beaches are in realistic walking distance. You either need to rent a car or, better still, a boat. Nikos can help with the boat. You can then sail yourself as far as the white sand beaches of Antipaxos or Lakka (or both).
The short walk into Gaios is via a rocky path. We got fitter doing this a couple of times a day. Don’t attempt it in flip flops and do keep enough charge in your phone for the torchlight return after dark. Marina helped bring heavy shopping such as bottled water for us on her scooter.

Great location on the top of Gaios Town and overlooking the waterfront. There are two separate balconies, with a huge amount of outdoor space and really spacious inside too. Well equipped kitchen with powerful air con throughout. Lovely owners who met us from the port. Would definitely recommend

This place is maybe one of the best value for money places in Paxos. Located in Gaios, a quite expensive place in terms of hotels prices, it offers a comfortable big interior place, an impressive view to the port and a uniquely competitive price. Owners live right downstairs and are polite and willing to help anytime. The house is equiped with everything a family or a group of friends need to live there for a few days. Last but not least, the house is big - 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 comfortable bathrooms, 1 huge balcony and a smaller one, 1 spacious living room and kitchen.
Overall a good and comfortable stay.
- The pin on the map is wrong so we had a bit of trouble finding the place. Watch out and call the owner to guide you.
- Access to the house with a car is difficult in the last part. There is an extremely steep uphill which is almost impossible to drive. Hence, you need to leave your car down the hill (40 meters from the house).
- There is a shortcut to walk to Gaios in 4 mins. But it is not a paved road. So it can be a tiring, difficult and maybe dangerous for older people.
- The design of the interiors is not the most modern you could find. However, this is not a problem
- Owners own many cats and sometimes you may find them on your balcony or chairs. It was not an issue for us but if you don't like cats you may feel uncomfortable.
- You need to pay in cash. Also not an issue for us but you will not be able to pay with a card.
