The hotel was dated and and needed a complete renovation. Our friends were shown their cottage accommodation ( the expensive accommodation) and the room lacked lights, the odor of urine was strongly present, WCs not cleaned. They were offered another room which was of a similar condition. They were offered a 3rd room but decided to ask for a refund and seek another hotel. One look at the swimming pool which contained leafs and the water had not been treated proved just too much. Our friends obtained a refund because they had paid in cash. Unfortunately for us we paid by credit card so could not obtain a refund. My friends and ourselves booked into another hotel which was a similar price but was so superior to the Palace Hotel.

Professional and kind staff, great and very helpfull, brilliant free shuttle and laundry service. Good bed and spatious room.

Compressor noise from the garden was most disturbing (the inner court has in fact lots of potential, charm that needs some upgrading) and the pool water wasn't too clear. I guess the pics on booking.com have been taken some time in the glorious past days.

The swimming pool was great Staff were great and very helpful

False advertising... the photos on site showed a much larger grounds which is actually not this property. Their was a a lot of sex tourists coming and going with sex workers. Food wasn’t that great.

Though we had a complain, the manager transferred us to another clean room w/ door lock..

The door lock was broken and the room's floor is dirty..
