The setting along the Danube River was lovely. The hotel staff are among the most exceptional in our 60 days of travel, they are good people. We had a very good dinner with a stunning dessert. The pancakes with fig jam take a few extra minutes to prepare but the flavors and preparation are remarkable, we highly recommend! Unfortunately we only spent one night here, had I known better I would have lingered longer.

Parking was tight that day, but they did find a place for us.

Nice location, very friendly staff and very tasty food. Clean room and very comfortable with a great view to the Danube

The pillows were a little too stiff for my taste, but there isn’t really anything that I didn’t enjoy.

The room was nice, location was okay, hosts super friendly, giving also advice what to do in the area - we rented some bicycles from the property and did a short trip to the Decebal statue. Also super good food.

Pool was not ready (but also not really needed for the time of the year)

We liked the location of the hotel and the Austrian / Romania owner of the place. The view of the danube are amazing and the local food provided was great.

the hotel needs a bit of maintenance and overhaul in a few corners. the staff sometimes appeared disinterested

Our booking information said we had a balcony the room we were given had no balcony and we were told by the proprietor that we hadn’t booked a room with a balcony and one wasn’t available
