The room were spacious and they had good showers
The area is a bit noisy in the evenings

My stay was like a summary of all the previous reviews: stuffy windowless room, very noisy, but comfy bed, clean, hot shower and a good price.

Not very friendly staff. We got there an hour before the check in time and we were told that the room was ready but that we needed to pay an extra 10$ if we wanted to go in earlier. First time this happens to us after 2 months travelling around the country.

After all woman on the reception helped me to cancel this stay.
This hotel is located in the downtown, not near the Cable as it shown on the booking map. There were street transgender prostitutes around the block. Rooms have no windows. Stay away from this place.

Shower with proper hot water, lovely city.
My initial room had absolutely no natural light, only a painful neon light, and looked nothing like the pictures. They changed it from double bed + single bed to double bed only with a tiny hole in the wall that can be considered window (picture attached). The staff was bored, and rather cold and unwelcoming, the room was cold and unpleasant, bed was hard (and I don't like the soft ones, but this was hard even by my standards). I hated everything about my stay in this place, and if not for the lovely city, I would've left as soon as I got there.
Why this gets 1 from me instead of 2-3: my backpack got damaged on the way to Manizales, so I spent 2h in the morning ordering my stuff on the bed, then I went out to buy the new backpack. When I returned, they had moved everything I had arranged from where it was, mixed it together to make the bed I'm guessing, they didn't put them as they were, and also touched and moved my underwear and other personal intimate objects that I don't want anyone putting their hands on, which I find repulsive and very intrusive. In every hotel where I stayed before (I'm an avid international traveler) when personal items were left on the bed, they were not touched. The room didn't look cleaned, no clue if they changed the sheets after one night for some weird non-eco-friendly reason, but they also took my creamy soap and left one of the poor quality skin drying hotel ones instead. Very bad experience for me.

The staff was friendly. They gave me directions for parking several blocks away
No parking, no elevators, very thin and unsecured rooms. Mattress of stone, lots of noise through vented rooms, very outdated facilities

Very friendly staff and central location, within 5-7 min walk from the Cathedral of Manizales. I was visiting for La Feria, and it was the best place to stay for an undemanding traveller! Good stream of hot running water as well was a huge asset!
The sound isolation in the rooms is very poor (however, that's the case for most places in Colombia).
