This property is a must stay in the St. Michael’s area! We have stayed in at least 50 VRBO’s, and this home was by far the cleanest and most well equipped ever! The host, Carol, was absolutely amazing and gave us the best communication and attention to detail that we’ve ever experienced. The location is so convenience and within walking distance to restaurants and downtown. I can’t say enough good things about this property, and you will be thrilled to stay there. Thank you for allowing us to experience your piece of heaven!

We booked this home for a weekend away. St Michael was a beautiful small town with adorable shops and amazing restaurants (make reservations early. Even this time of year they filled up). We walked everywhere and had a great relaxing time. The home is just perfect. Clean and stylish with everything you need and then some. The back yard with its patio and pool was a great visual. I’m sure in season it’s a great space to hang out most of the day. The town is small and quaint. We had fun just walking up and down the side streets looking at the beautiful homes. The town is very pet friendly and we were able to have our pup with us everywhere we went. I couldn’t recommend this property enough if you want a stay over in St Michael. Carol was absolutely amazing and responses very quickly to any question. We will be back.

The house was great and carol was accommodating. Very walkable to everything. Very clean. The only thing that was difficult was how low the ceilings are in the upstairs bedroom/bathroom. Tough if you are tall! We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Carol’s property! The bed was cozy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was a perfect temperature. What makes this house special is it’s tucked in location but proximity to the Main Street of St. Michael’s and all it has to offer.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights with our 4 month old & two dogs and had a wonderful time. The location could not have been better, we parked our car on Sunday and didn't move it until Thursday when we were leaving! The home was lovely, as was the outdoor pool area. Karen was always responsive via text message. We hope to be back again sometime!

Absolutely amazing- exactly what you hope for when renting a property. The house was spotless, stocked with everything needed for our stay. All the little details were handled, from beautiful accent pillows to a beautifully set table for dinner. The property was clean, well kept, and welcoming. The outdoor space with the patio and pool was our own private oasis l.

The property is in an ideal location to the water, town, biking, walking, shopping and so much more. A very clean property with tons of amenities for all ages. The pool was even better in person with chairs/umbrella seating in the shallow end for complete relaxation. Nice yard. Updated fixtures and decor inside the house. Everything you could ask for. Will definitely be returning for many more summer trips!!

My husband and I stayed at Harbour Hideaway for 3 nights and it was wonderful!! We walked in and Carol had everything we could of needed! The house was a short walk to Main Street and right near the water which was great for a bicycle ride(bikes were available) or a nice walk to start the day. The pool was absolutely amazing and so well maintained. We will absolutely be back!

This was the best experience I've ever had renting a property. Every single detail was thought out, so there was nothing we had to bring or go to the store for. The location was great as well. I couldn't recommend this property strongly enough.

Wonderful to be able to walk to everything. We didn’t use our vehicle at all our entire stay. Carol Had the cottage stocked and was very clean, we did not want for thing. The pool was refreshing and private, an added bonus. The neighborhood was quiet and the front porch was a great spot to relax and read. The town is quaint and the restaurants close by. We would definitely come back again

This house was wonderful for 4 adults, extremely clean and had all the amenities and necessities you could want! A short walk or bike ride away from town and all the restaurants. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for the long Memorial Day Weekend. Carol was kind enough to send all the details we needed for our stay. The home is a short walk to all the shops and restaurants that St. Michael’s has to offer. The pool and backyard were so lovely and the house had all the amenities needed for a restful weekend. Cozy and convenient. Kitchen was experiencing some disrepair with drawers but nothing that was problematic. I was informed the owner was getting ready to do a kitchen renovation.

This cottage was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. There were 4 of us sharing the cottage. We made use of the bikes and the cornhole boards. It’s in such a great location and convenient to walk everywhere. The beds were very comfortable and the house was incredibly clean and organized. The owners have truly thought of everything to make their home an ideal rental. We hope to return!

Beautiful pool, outdoor shower, gorgeous backyard and impeccable attention to detail in the house and stocking of the kitchen. Don't miss the sunrise as you enjoy your morning coffee. Wonderful linens, towels and bedding. I have decided that it isn't worth renting a house unless the owners have high standards. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We prepared wonderful breakfasts at the house. Next time we would probably do more cooking since it is so well suited for preparation. We would go to the Village Shoppe (wonderfully fabulous) and Chesapeake Landing (absolutely terrific) for provisions and prepare a few more meals at the house. Delightful.

We did use the patio and BBQ. Comfortable outdoor furniture. It’s a luxury cottage. The only thing you need to bring is food. The kitchen is very well equipped. We highly recommend this property.

We recently stayed at Harbor Hideaway when in Maryland for a family wedding. The home was perfect for our family of four. The location was great; we were easily able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Everything in the house was spotless, and we really appreciated the outdoor space. It was a great gathering place for other family members that were in the area for the wedding. Though we didn't really cook, the kitchen was well stocked. In addition, we appreciated that there were extra towels, pillows, and necessary paper goods. Also, after a late arrival, it was great to have coffee/creamer, etc. available in the house for first morning! I would not hesitate to recommend the house. Even though Carol was traveling out of the country, she checked on us to ensure we had what we needed. Great stay!

This guest home was superb in many ways - the location was right off the Main Street and markets, shops, restaurants, museums and marinas were within walking distance. This VRBO was very cozy and well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, two different coffee makers, kitchen supplies, flashlights, and updated appliances. The furniture was comfortable and the home was nicely decorated. The outdoor area was very pleasant with the wraparound sofa, several outdoor umbrellas, dining area, pool lounges, chairs, and the swimming pool was very soothing.
Thank you for the comfortable bicycles that were in great shape. I would like to add that we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the entire home and hope to return again.

Harbor Hideaway is the cutest house that is the perfect location in St Michael’s. It was so clean and was supplied with everything you could possibly want. The pool is amazing and was so nice to come back to after walking around town.

Once again, Carol and the owners of HH provided a beautiful, expertly appointed escape for my family! This is the second time I’ve stayed at Harbor Hideaway and we loved being so close to both the water and Talbot Ave. The house was a dream for my mom, who recently had back surgery and is still moving slowly - she slept GREAT in the lovely downstairs bedroom, btw - and the pool was perfect every single day of our stay! Highly recommend this spot. We’ll be back!

My husband and I arrived in St. Michaels with our two large dogs along with a week of 90+ degree heat and beautiful sunshine! This was our first time in the region and we were anxious to explore. This home is in the perfect location to get to many of the sites in the region. We went up to see the bald eagles in the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, took a ride on Patriot Cruises and tired many of the restaurants in the area.
We have stayed at several VRBO properties and by far, this was the best stocked home. Anything we might have wanted, was on hand for us to use. Extremely thoughtful! The furnishing and items throughout the home are of a lovely quality which we very much appreciated!
The house is on a peaceful street and taking long walks with the dogs in the morning was easy to do. Due to the weather, being so hot-the new pool added an important dynamic. It is perfect!
Carol is wonderful to work with and very attentive - should you need her for any reason! We would return in a heart-beat!

Habor Hideaway was absolutely lovely! The cottage is so quaint, extremely well care for and within walking distance to everything St. Michaels has to offer. We all loved our stay at Harbor Hideaway. It was immaculate when we arrived and was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a refreshing bonus, and we spent lots of time sitting in the peaceful backyard. Simply a lovely cottage close to shops and restaurants- hope to return!
