EVERYTHING, Barbara and Zrinka are amazing hostess, they go above and beyond for guests, we have been traveling for a while and undoubtedly this has been an exceptional stay. if your planing on traveling to visit Plitvice Lakes or simply to need a place to feel at home and welcomed Zrinka house is THE PLACE. Oh!! Breakfast is 5 stars, the cook all the bakery (DELICIOUS) have vegan options, cook eggs any way you want and even send you off with sandwiches to have your picnic at the lakes. Again simply EXCEPTIONAL.

Wonderful stay here - Zrinka and family are incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was lovely (with a comfortable bed and excellent shower) and the breakfasts were delicious. Very kind of them to give you foods specifically for a picnic to bring to the lakes. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone!

Breakfast was all freshly made and they gave out bags to pack a lunch to eat in the park. They offered freshly made cake and drinks after our park visit. The room was large quiet and with huge clean bathroom with hot water. The room was cleaned each day and new towels for the bathroom. The wifi signal was strong and worked. There is plenty of car parking. They also respond quickly to email and send you information to make your stay better. This is the place to stay while visiting Plitvice lakes national.

You will need a car to reach the park. It is not far driving about 20 minutes depending on traffic but I feel too far to walk and enjoy the park.

Best accommodation ever! Zrinka and Barbara are simply amazing. The house is beautiful and the breakfast is the best I ever had. Barbara bakes everything herself. We already miss this place. Thank you so much for everything!!

Everything was spotlessly clean. The owners are very kind and hospitable. The breakfast offer was impeccable, whatever you asked for, it was already brought. In fact, they encouraged you to pack anything for the trip, they also added a paperbag. The room had a huge bed, a minibar, was cleaned every day and new towels were put out. I have never been to such an extraordinary accommodation before, I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! The apartment alone is worth coming to this area :)

Everything was excellent, I could say one exception. The noises coming from the neighboring rooms and the corridor could be heard quite a bit in our room. This was a bit annoying if you wanted to take a break in the afternoon. Maybe the subsequent soundproofing would help, and then it would really be a 5* accommodation.

Staff were great, room was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast/lunch was delicious. A short drive to National Park and restaurants.

The walls are a bit thin, you can hear other guests. Bit it was still a great stay.

When we arrived the inn keeper gave us slices of chocolate cake and was so nice. The breakfast is phenomenal and they are so thoughtful....they give you items to pack for a picnic when you go to the waterfalls. The room is big and updated with very nice decor. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

The rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable. The location is convenient and peaceful. The customer service is outstanding: we were greeted with coffee and cake on our arrival, and given information about Croatia. Breakfast was amazing, everything homemade, and they offered to prepare your own picnic lunch at breakfast. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and customer-oriented. A very special place!

Zrinka and her daughter Barbara took exceptional care of us, and made us feel like friends rather than guests! The breakfasts were fantastic, with home baked goods, eggs made to order and everything else you could want. The room was very large and comfortable, with lovely decor. The guest house is less than 10 minutes from Plitvice Lakes National Park, so very convenient. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful room, grounds and breakfast, but what makes this so special is the incredibly gracious hosts. This was our second time here and Zrinka and Barbara our the best hosts one could ever ask for. A must place when visiting Plitvice!

Zrinka and Barbara are truly beautiful people. They both made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived. We stayed to visit Plitvice, and Zrinka House was an oasis of calm. The rooms feel like a top hotel and also welcoming and super comfortable. Our boys were delighted with their huge balcony! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, Barbara is an incredible baker. We were encouraged to pack lunch from the breakfast table, which was so welcome. As was the glass of wine offered when we returned in the evening! Both local restaurant recommendations were excellent. And when we told Barbara we were heading to Zadar next, she produced a map of the city for us! Zrinka House was an undoubted highlight of our trip to Croatia and we hope to return! Thanks so much.

Zrinka and her daughter went out of their way to make our stay special. From checking on tickets to the lakes park, to slices of the most delicious banana bread to take with us. We would recommend coming to Croatia just to stay here. Their recommendations to visit Hum was fantastic and made our day. Felt right at home.

Just book this place... don't even think about it! This was mine and my husbands favourite place that we stayed at. The room and house is beautifully designed and spotless. You have everything you could need with beautiful and generous hosts and views. We were greeted with cake and coffee before being taken to our beautiful room. The breakfast was delicious and were given extra to prepare packed lunches for plitvice national park (which is also stunning)! They really go all out to cater for you and make sure you are feeling comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful, and has a couple restaurants within 5 min walking distance. My husband and I try to always visit a new country, place each time we go on holiday.. Zrinka House and Plitvice Park have us wanting to revisit Croatia just to repeat one of our fave days and stays!
