Location, breakfast and hosts

Shared bathroom and bedroom beside front door, so heard everyone coming in and out as we are early risers

Everything was very nice

it was clean, the owners were very nice and it was in a great location beside the sea. The bedrooms were lovely.

We were very happy with the breakfast. When asked if there was anything else,my husband asked for scrambled eggs and there tehy were next day. Thanks Mary and JOhn

The welcome was warm and friendly, the property was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable and breakfast excellent.

The only minor suggestion I would make is to have a clearer sign to find the property.

We enjoyed the breakfast. Offered loads to eat including cereal cooked breakfast extra toast n coffee if we wanted. Lovely property. Friendly owners . Clean fresh rooms.

Breakfast was basic. No menu, fresh fruit left in basket. Tinned fruit cocktail offered aswell! Butter dish needed a wash communal tables.

Host refused a hot bfast to my Husband on second Day. I had paid for 2 people 2 nights B&B €240.

We loved our stay at Hunter's Lodge. John and Mary were terrific hosts, and we especially appreciated their taking time to have a conversation with us on our last morning there. It was conveniently located, once we found the right driveway (American driver and navigator; it took 2 tries!). We liked being close to Waterford, without being right in the midst of city bustle.

We did find the fragrance of the room airators nearly overpowering, so were grateful for windows which opened. While we appreciated the many efforts to provide COVID cautions, we were glad to use our own sanitizer rather than what was provided (which we found sticky). We would have liked to have a chair (or two) available, perhaps in the walkway to our room? Instead, we sat on the bed to do our computer work and to read. We missed having conversation with other people staying there, as we had breakfast alone both mornings (tho' we were happy to have John and Mary joining us after we ate).

Mary and John were really friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay there. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and Mary ensured she would cook something we would like.

John and Mary were wonderful hosts and very friendly. Accommodation was excellent and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend it.

Our hosts John and Mary were very welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and in mint condition and the breakfast was outstanding

The only gripe I had was the outer door had to be locked and unlocked as you came and went. I'm unfortunately forgetful at the best of times and found myself going back out to double check.

Mary was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life.
