Great location, classic vibe, clean and bright. Quiet and peaceful right on the sand but just a short stroll to action of the pier or first point with board.

Sits right on the water, place is clean, Angel, who works there was very accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

Great location right on the beach. Enjoyed the waves crashing the shore and watching the water flowing under the house. Could feel the power of the ocean. Relaxing retreat stay.

Exquisite view, so cute and quaint. Had everything we needed! The sound and smell of the surf are intoxicating!

It was beautiful! Only we thought we would have more of a beach not a lot of rocks in front of us. And there were ants.also the floor was dirty. Other then that, we enjoy the place and location

This property was everything I dreamt it would be. Close to the pier, Dreamland, McDonalds/Jack in the Box. Whole Foods, etc. Plenty of beach if you are in to that. Garage was nice, and gated community. The best was the shower. Plenty of hot water, and powerful showerhead. We stayed for 7 days, and this location worked great for Santa Barbara trip, 30 minutes from LAX, Hollywood etc. The only thing I would recommend is a taller kitchen trash can. Thanks for letting us use your property, and GO DAWGS!

There is no air conditioning, no heat except a 1950's electric element heater in the bathroom (which is very dangerous), no smoke detectors. All of the furniture needs to be replaced. If your looking for a a luxury apartment pass on this one. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this would be sufficient.

The view was great if that’s what you’re going for. The Unit was dated and lacked kitchen counter space. Sofa bed was not comfortable at all, luckily my son is too small to experience body aches yet. But, other than that, it was nice. Close to pier.

Loved the location with beach and water right out your door.Tide rolled in right under the balcony, can't get any closer. Well maintained and clean unit, will definitely be back.

Girls trip was amazing! Can't beat the location and security. Walking distance to the Malibu pier. ( Less then 5 min walk) Every convenience close by. Only complaint was the pressure in the shower head. Besides that , perfect

We would love to have stayed longer. Oceanfront is an understatement as the surf comes right to the deck at high tide. Excellent support and communication from the onsite staff. They made it easy.

The property was very neat and clean. The balcony looked right out to the ocean and faced the sunrise in the morning. We were very pleased!

We were looking for a peaceful birthday getaway on the ocean and there is no way we could get any closer than this! We loved listening to the waves at night and reading on the balcony by day. Eateries were within walking distance but we took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to cook a number of meals - we just wanted to spend as much time in place as possible. Hope to stay here again on other occasions!

Pros: The property is right on the beach in a great central location very close to the Malibu Pier. Be aware that surf pounds right below the deck when the tide is in. Pet friendly. Check in was seamless and we were greeted upon arrival. Cannot beat the view of the ocean. Apartment contains everything you need and was very clean and comfortable. Excellent off-street parking in closed garage. Sadly we were there in a heavy storm and it poured with rain non-stop during our stay. Cons: Missing gutters caused water to pour down where you enter the apartment near the bedroom window and next to the garage where we parked - hard to exit and enter without getting soaked; apartment in need of a little TLC; nowhere to walk pets; property around complex rather messy; water run off canal next to property on the side where apartment located is full of junk (old shopping cart, abandoned catamaran, etc.). Important cautionary note to prospective renters - this property is listed at $295 a night but after all fees are added it rents for $500 a night!

The apartment was cute and clean except for the dated kitchen. Not neccesarily dirty but there are tiles for the countertop and the grout is questionable. Definitely needs an updating. Our son was supposed to stay with us but when he laid on the pull out couch he decided that it was way too uncomfortable to sleep on so he went back to his apartment every night. I also thought there would be more of a beach to walk but it was very rocky. Luckily it didn't matter because it was lousy weather the whole time we were there. There is a hotel next door where we ate breakfast one morning and Nobu is down the street and walkable. One other suggestion for all VRBO owners, it would be nice to know what type of coffee maker is on premisis so you can bring the appropriate coffee, ground or whole bean or pods for the first morning you are there. All in all it is a nice place.

Great space right in the beach. Clean and comfortable except for the fold out couch/bed. Should be replaced. I would stay again. The manager was very helpful.

Even better than the pictures. Such a cute condo. Clean and everything we needed to cook meals and relax. Great location to walk and hang out on the beach.

This is our second stay at this property. It is such a beautiful location. We love sitting on the deck and watching the birds, dolphins, seals and the ocean waves. It is walking distance to a few eateries also. The condo is older, but well equipped and very comfortable. Angel is the best property manager and a joy to interact with. We look forward to our next stay

This charming condo provided a wonderful, relaxing getaway for us. The location is its best quality! It was absolutely amazing to be right on the ocean with such unobstructed, incredible views. The beach located directly outside the condo was peaceful and quiet; not crowded like many of the beaches. It was an easy walk to the pier. Other attractions/restaurants are just a short drive on PCH. The private deck overlooking the ocean is lovely; we enjoyed relaxing out there for much of our trip! The unit itself is fully stocked with everything you may need and included a convenient gated parking space just steps from the front door of the condo (a rare find in the area). Take note, the parking space is small but perfectly adequate for a sedan or even mid-sized SUV. We didn’t pull all the way in the garage and that made it easier to get in/out. Just a couple callouts for improvement; the bed was uncomfortable, perhaps a bit broke down and the windows didn’t have screens on them so we didn’t leave them open at night. It was a bit unseasonably warm so to have that airflow at night would have been nice. There are a couple of portable fans provided so that helped a little. Overall, this condo is every bit worth it with the picture perfect views and we hope to be back!

Place was great, right over the crashing waves. Hotel next door had nice restaurant. Grocery store about 3mins (1 mile) away.

We all slept to the calming sound of the ocean's waves and it wasn't on a device... it was the real deal! It was also great having Angel and his wife around when questions arose. We're glad we made the choice to stay in Malibu and specifically at the Oceanfront Cottage! It refreshed our souls and was light on the pocket book!

So happy with everything! House is clean, beautiful and location was perfect! Angel, property help, was great! We looked for a guest book to sign but there was not one.

This apartment has a gorgeous view and was extremely clean. It was a great location for a beach vacation. There are multiple beaches within walking distance along with shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a great stay in Malibu!
