Lit confortable , restauration bonne.

Location is perfect, sunsets were amazing. Great selection of cocktails and drinks.
The Pool and access to the sea for snorkelling also great. Although there is a fast current that runs along the inside of the reef so it’s not suitable for all swimmers.
The guys that run the water sports are very helpful and always happy to see you 10/10.
Staff are very helpful and attentive. If I were to return to Tahiti then I would definitely stay again.
I stayed in 2 different garden rooms, the first one was very clean and tidy, the second one facing the back of the restaurant was a bit tired and needed some TLC to bring it back up to a higher level.

Parking garage was unsafe. I left early from hotel after I found my back window down and the windshield wipers lifted up and a wooden pallet blocking my car, this was extremely unsettling. I spoke to someone at the desk and they could care less. I took pictures of it and showed them. I was already late to an excursion, so I left and didn't come back until the next day during daylight it was time to check out.

The pool area with outdoor bars and restaurants were fantastic
The bath tub and no shower was terrible.
Jus a small hose thing you had to hold in your hand so difficult to wash yourself especially face and hair

We loved everything with our stay! We stayed between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and Te Moana was perfect. The pool's lovely with the swim up bar and the lagoon area was great for snorkelling (we borrowed fins for free) and they had other activities if you want to Jetski etc if you wish. The staff that worked around the pool were always super friendly and helpful making sure our belongings were under cover when a short downpour happened when we were in the pool. The little bar and mini motu area were amazing and perfect for the sunset. We had the more affordable room so no balcony/view but the room was perfect for us and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was great too. Our food was on the pricier side but we were staying for Christmas and being at a resort, this was expected. If you have rented a car, there's parking (once you have checked in) underneath the building or across the street if full.
You can do the activities for cheaper if you wish to but if you want the convenience of finishing the activities right by the resort then why not.

The fact the staff were very annoyed we didn’t book a table for dinner but we weren’t instructed too.

The pool and the views across to Moorea Island are stunning.
the service was pretty average

Great location. Beautiful views. Rentals available right on location for snorkeling, SUP, etc. Service is great. Nice bar with a beautiful location to watch the sunset. Excellent on location restaurant.
Only one restaurant on location. Would like more options, as there are not many other restaurants within walking distance. Nice pool but not heated and no beach access from the hotel. A small lagoon but otherwise need to travel to a beach.

Close proximity to Fa'a'a (Papeete's airport). Easy to scuba dive from their dock (Tahiti Nui Diving has a rigid inflatable boat). Nice infinity pool, and also an ocean manmade lagoon. Good bars.
I waited to make this review, so I wouldn't be so angry. This was our second time staying here...last time was 4 years ago when it was called the Manava Suite, and we had no problems. While boat scuba diving leaving from their dock, I and my daughter left our sandals near the lockers. Before leaving them I specifically asked the staff if this was okay and was told yes. We suspect an employee or family member of an employee stole them. The employees in the area were shocked that someone stole them. Initially we didn't get anywhere with the hotel management, until we reminded them that they have security cameras which would help them figure out who took them. I also didn't have any alternative footwear. We got the sandals back about 1 1/2 hours later. The management should have been more proactive.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All resort amnesties included like kayaks and paddle boarding. Dive shop on site.
The parking garage was difficult to navigate with a mid size car

Our over-the-water bungalow was stupendous, allowing us to simply climb down a few stairs into the shoulder height warm water and snorkel with thousands of fish. Staff helpful, breakfast buffet quite good, weather was perfect, and see-through coffee tables in unit allowed us to observe fish anytime we wanted without getting wet. Special place
The Polynesian show was limited and not as good as i remember from 10 years ago.

Breakfast was wonderful. We stayed mostly by the beautiful pool area with the restaurant and the bar.

beautiful hotel at the end of our cruise
whilst offering a transit room post check out, this was actually a shower in a very small room, without a toilet, or air conditioning. unbearably hot.

Easily to feel at home
too many mosquitoes & bugs.....
The location is not quite convenient

They offered me an upgrade to a much larger room located in a quieter area of the hotel although it cost me an additional $40 per night. The upgraded room was fantastic although slightly dated and needed more outlets for charging electronic devices
Would have been nice to know the standard rooms face the street and the entrance so noise could be an issue up front before I booked the room. The standard room needs more outlets and not worth what I paid. The standard room is like putting lipstick on a pig.

The deluxe lagoon room was huge and classy. It had a very large covered lanai and a kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Pool bar was nice and the whole outdoor setting is very beautiful.
It is not on a beach, but still very nice with views of Moorea.

on the water with a great pool. separate bedroom with large sitting room and kitchen.
couch was very uncomfortable food quite expensive and it was a taxi ride to a supermarket.

It is actually pretty hard to beat the infinity pool overlooking Moorea with a swim up bar. The associated restaurant was also a very nice first night in French Polynesia. Food was really great and turns out pricey food is not unusual for FP. You’re paying for the incredible position as well here. Really enjoyable tasty and cheaper alternatives were the food trucks just opposite the resort or a short walk north. Share meals here - servings were huge. There was a little market close by and larger supermarkets further north. Staff were unfailingly polite and pleasant over 5 days. Wifi was the best in FP - excellent (we had some bad wifi). The gym was a little cramped, but when empty it was fine. Our garden view apartment was excellent if a little odd in configuration - the sofabed downstairs meant our teenage daughters pretty much had their own bedroom. Huge apartment overall.
I wasn’t massively keen on all the taxi rides in and out of Papeete for the airport/ ferry/ markets, but in the end after seeing Papeete, I’m not sorry I didn’t stay closer to the centre and overall I think the Te Moana location worked well for us

great facilities
room was located next to the road and it was very noisy didn’t get much sleep.

The lagoon studio and garden studios are ok rooms. The front desk were professional and so were the porters. Yuka was very good and effective.
Bar staff by the pool had a generally bad attitude and they were a bit "off". We experienced snide and judgemental vibes far too frequently for it to be a one-off or misunderstanding. We stayed there for a total of 3 days and 3 nights during this visit to FP so we had time to assess if it was repeated behaviour. And indeed it was.

accessible to Marina to view other islands
they allowed locals into resort to swim in pool and pool bar

We actually stayed there two different times within the same week. The ocean side was nice.
The desk personnel were some of the rudest we met in our three month vacation. It as as if there was total contempt for all non French speaking guests.
