Mosquitos

The resort is very green, you feel like in a garden. This is what we like about it very much. There's a small lake, too, but the bungalows that are a bit farther don't have any problems with mosquitos as a reason of the lake, I don't know about the bungalows around the lake, though. (there are mosquitos, but the same as anywhere else in Krabi, the lake doesn't have effect on that). The property has hotel style rooms and bungalows. We stayed in bungalow, which is nice. You have your own terrace and your own privacy. Our bungalow was close to one of the pools, which was very comfortable. There are two pools, so you can choose where there's less people. The resort has shuttle service to the beach, which we used sometimes. To return we never used it as it was difficult for us to predict when we'll need it. you can always call, though, I assume. It's 20min walk up a very small hill to get to the resort from the Long Beach. You can get tuktuk for 100bath, too. (buses are running there, too, but we never used it) There are many good restaurants within walking distance, as well as massage centers/wellness center. There's also 7/11 few minutes walk.

The breakfast could have been better with more choice, especially fruits.

The room with air conditioning was very comfortable and the pool area was nice. Location is quiet but still near to the main areas with lots of shops and restaurants.

The bungalow (which I had originally booked into) specifically A-4 is honestly not fit for people to stay in. The curtains didn't fit the windows, so the sunlight made it extremely uncomfortably hot, and with only a fan (which was caked in dust) to cool it down. Disgraceful amount of bugs in the room and the mosquito net was covered in holes - the fan blew it open all night anyway so it didn't do much good. I woke up with a lot of nasty bug bites after staying 1 night before I paid extra to move to another room. Also, the hotel was difficult to find - Google Maps does not bring you to the right location, I think the hotel should know this and warn guests about this. Staff were not overly friendly. Breakfast options were never hot, always lukewarm.. I did not feel I got good value for the price paid.

We had a cockroach in our room. Our room was located in a very loud part od the hotel- i thought there was a kind of machine behind the wall- maybe for air con- that was very noisy all the time

Wonderful breakfast and beautiful property. The pool was nice, the plants and flowers were well maintained and very pretty. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle to town was great too.

A table or dresser in the room would be nice. Extra pillows and hand towels too. The mattresses are very hard.

Quite hotel, 20 minutes walk to the beach. Room was next to the swimming pool and had big balcony. Very nice green surroundings. There lived a huge water lizard in the pond. Free shuttle to the beach.

Breakfast was poor. No bar in the hotel. Sun beds were broken and few.

It was a beautiful place with beautiful view to the mountains and nice gardens. Also it was near the main road and you could easily walk to ao nang beach. They also had a shuttle service to the beach every hour.

The staff at the breakfast wasn’t super friendly and that lowered a little bit the feeling in the morning. The food could be better. There’s not really a restaurant like they say but instead 6 thai foods that you can order from 11am to 3pm. So there’s no smoothies, fruits, shakes or anything to enjoy at the pool. The children’s pool is situated at the new pool and I think it would be better with the other.

The resort is really green and that creates atmosphere of privacy for the bungalows. Also, the view from the pool is just magnificent. Breakfast is really good as well. The staff was nice - we had a little misundersting upon check out about additional costs - it was resolved very fast and professional.

Out of the 3 bungalows we had, 1 was modern while the other 2 were a bit dated - don't get me wrong, they were clean and rather comfortable, but you can see "the dent of time". I think that the transport to the beach could be more frequent than just once an hour.

Perfect location near main street, but in calm area. Hourly shuttle to the beach. Nice breakfast and very good pool area with showers. Really worth if you are staying longer and want to mix work & leasure.

Breakfast was Ok and the staff were lovely.

They are rotting wooden shacks. Inside you will get a single socket for all your devices. The bed is rock hard and lumpy. The pillows are flat as pancakes. There is no Aircon and the ceiling fan only had one working setting which was swing so you were cool for 5 seconds every minute. The room is not mosquito proof and the mosquito net is too small for the bed and full of holes so you wake up covered in bites every morning. And the shower is a dribble of lukewarm water. All in all one of the worst places I have stayed. If Ao Nang hadn't been heavily booked for our dates we would have just taken our losses and gone somewhere else. Unfortunately instead we haven't slept for 5 days.
