This was our 3rd year staying in this complex & this was our favorite unit to date! Lots of beds & space, nicely updated & well stocked. Great location, village is so close. Owner/manager was very responsive & we would definitely recommend this place!

We absolutely loved the home. It’s updated, clean, and the location was amazing. I’ve gone to mammoth my whole life and this year we decided to do something different and get as close to the village as possible. Being walking distance makes a huge difference! We only ran into a minor issue, which was the water pressure situation. But it really didn’t affect our trip much!

Immediately went to use the bathroom and saw actual poop smeared on the wall above the toilet. Not a great start.
Then at dinner we grabbed paper towels from under the kitchen sink (which absolutely reeked of mildew & we used to wipe our faces) then later realized the roll had been sitting literally inches from a used toilet brush which had also been stored under the kitchen sink. The fact that an item specifically used to clean the toilet - and has been used to clean the toilet - is anywhere near kitchen items is extremely concerning. Two of us went to medical school and were very worried about the cleanliness of everything we ate off of and touched from that point on.
Then my wife informed me that at 8am Sunday - after we had been up until almost 3am and were all still asleep - the property manager called her and woke her to ask about a pair of prescription glasses… then it became her duty to look for them, and when they weren’t found, the manager said he would come by the house to look. Since we were all gone and had all of our valuables & belongings out, she told him we did not feel comfortable with that. She never got a response. When she came home by herself to take a nap, she literally had to lock her bedroom door and deadbolt the front door because she was afraid she would be awoken by a stranger going through the house. The manager laughed at me on the phone when I told him how uncomfortable she was. “You must be from the city!” Awful experience & manager.

We had high hopes for this property - the pictures in the listing make it seem nice/luxury, however we were slightly disappointed when we arrived. The place seems kind of bare bones - the couches are thin and uncomfortable (reminded us of couches you would find in a college dorm room), the lighting everywhere is dim, there was barely enough towels for everyone in our party. The hot tub in the common area was cold/not working.The main problem though was that we were without wifi for the entire stay. We understood that this was a problem due to the massive amount of snow from the past few weeks, but the owners had to have known about the lack of wifi issue before we arrived. However, no one told us. This was a big issue because a few people in our group were working remote for part of our stay. The property manager was in communication with us about the issue once we got there, but in the end it never got resolved. I just wish they would have given us a heads up before we arrived.
Other than that, the house is definitely in a great location, walking distance to the village gondola. and can sleep 10 people in beds (our party was just 7 people). Good option if you are looking for something simple in a great location.

We loved our stay at Darryl's property. It was roomy enough for 9 adults but still had a cozy feel - especially with the fireplace. We had a little issue we needed addressed and Darryl and Ken took care of it and made things right. They were super communicative and thoughtful. We loved the ski access and proximity to the village. The kitchen was awesome and well-stocked. Everything we needed was provided. Definitely a well-thought out space and home with a commitment to customer service and attention to detail. I'd absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay at Daryl’s place. He was super communicative before and during the stay and the place was exactly what we had hoped/expected. Great location and with 8 beds, it slept the 10 of us perfectly. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this mammoth cabin! It was the perfect size for our two families to enjoy for a few nights. And the location was amazing. A quick walk down to the village and gondolas to get up to the lodge for skiing. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We enjoyed our stay here over New Years. We had 2 families (4 adults, 5 kids under 8). This place was great for all of us, everyone had beds and space. The kitchen had everything you needed. Most importantly it was an easy walk to the village even with skis.

Our group had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is in a superb location, with the village just a few minutes of walking away. The property was clean and well equipped. We had a small issue during check-in as we were given the wrong entry code initially, but they were responsive and helped us immediately. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

The condo was spacious and slept our group of 10 perfectly. It was a short walk to the village where there was entertainment and access to the trolley and shuttles. The kitchen had ample supplies for a large group and lots of cooking spices and oils.
Cleanliness was not fantastic as the floors were kind of sticky (they asked that shoes be left at the door), a couple of the bath towels had some brown sticky stuff on them, and the hand soaps in all the bathrooms were filled with water not soap (which is on the cleaning crew not the owners). A few of the windows were missing screens which was a bummer because the breeze was so nice and kept the place cool but we didn't want to let bugs in and were limited with opening windows. Also the complex spa was disgusting; bugs floating in it, murky water and a layer of film on the top. The pool had piles of dirt on the bottom but the water wasn't murky so we still let the kids swim. Overall, the condo was what we needed it to be for our trip and we enjoyed our stay.

Second stay and just as good as the first time
This is the second year that my group has stayed at this property while we acclimate before our backpacking trip. The place was just as great for the trip as it was last year. I forgot to/ran out of time to write a quick note in the guestbook, but it was fun flipping through to my entry last year and re-reading it. My comments this year would've been much of the same. The check-in instructions process differed a bit from last year. I received the door code much earlier last year than I did this year, so I was a bit worried as the date of my stay approached. However, Darryl was very responsive when I asked him about the door code and provided it to me. I ended up receiving the instructions through the automated system a few days later. When we arrived, the door code didn't work right away- it took a few tries. We were able to call through the list of contacts until we could get a hold of someone and they were able to provide a new code that worked reliably right away. This place is definitely on my favorites list for any future backpacking trips out of Mammoth. Thanks for another great stay!

The condo is very nice and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen, big dining table, open and bright living room with huge TV, comfortable beds, humidifiers and more...
Definitely we would recommend this condo to our friends and family!

Great stay with a few small issues
We really enjoyed our stay at this property -- it was very comfortable and well appointed. We only had a small issue, when we found very early on that one of our sinks was leaking. Unfortunately, the property manager was defensive rather than accommodating, but the issue was still fixed quickly so no real issue here.

Perfect place for two families
This place was perfect for our two families! Plenty of room for adults and kids to lounge around in after a long day of skiing. The location was just a few minutes walk to the gondola and the village. The only suggestion would be to replace the carpeted stairs, as it was pretty worn out and one of us accidentally slipped on it. Otherwise the hardwood floors and amenities were clean and well taken care of.

We had a bit of a hiccup with check-in, but the property managers and housekeeping staff rectified everything as quickly as they could. We appreciated their hospitality and responsiveness. Location was amazing, hot tub and sauna were great (shared, but there was hardly anyone there when we stayed mid-week).

When we first arrived the door code didn’t work but contacted property manager and they got that back to me right away with a solution. The house was clean and slept 4 adults and 3 infants with no problem. We were surprised that there was no air-conditioning upon arrival, but it did not get too hot where it was necessary. The best part of the house is the location! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our short stay in town before heading out into the wilderness
My company does an annual backpacking trip and we usually stay in a hotel, with 1 or 2 to a room, a few days prior to acclimate to the altitude. Due to the number of people in our group (more than previous trips) and COVID concerns, we wanted to stay in a condo where everyone had their own room and to limit exposure to other guests. We rented two condos and this was one of them. This condo was perfect. Parking was plentiful and close to the entrance, and the location was unbeatable. Darryl provided detailed instructions on everything. We had no issues finding where to park and where the condo was located. The electronic code for entry made it really easy and convenient to check-in. Everything was clean and tidy, and cupboards and drawers were adequately labeled. We saved the room, with the bunkbeds for the person who was only coming in on the last night. Prior to seeing the room, I was worried that, as an adult, that person might feel cramped. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room was not too small (for a 5'4" petite adult woman- a 6'-something adult may feel differently). I appreciated the humidifiers in every bedroom. There were a few cobwebs in the living room, but overall very clean. I would have appreciated a bit more (brighter) lighting in the living room, but that's minor. All in all, we had a great stay. It had just the right amount of space for a group of coworkers to be close but not too close. We did not need to contact the owner nor the property manager during our stay.

We had some issues with kitchen and areas not being clean upon arrival but host was responsive to addressing the situation. Overall great location for skiing and good condo amenities and layout. I would stay here again and would recommend to others.
