Pool was freezing. Spa was Luke warm. And coffee appliance broken. And workers next door were a nightmare

It was clean and would have been comfortable were it not for the extremely loud construction site next door.
Staying at Azur was a horrible experience. We weren’t notified of the ongoing construction site next door and when we asked to check out early hotel management were incredibly difficult to deal with. They are living in Bali and were non responsive until we asked booking.com for support. They refused to let us check out early and lied saying there was no way to put info about the ongoing construction on their booking.com ad or their own site.

We checked out after the first night and only stayed that long because we arrived at 10pm.
The property does not look like the photos advertised and is hugely overpriced for what it is.
The villa was run down and not even close to ‘luxurious’ - curtains hanging off the rails, water damaged doors and all of the walls and windows were scuffed and dirty.
The walls are paper thin and we could hear the upstairs apartments every word until they stopped partying at 2am. The villas have no privacy if the curtains are open as anyone can see straight into the room/bedroom so you can’t have any natural light in there. There is a huge construction site next door looming over the pool and the villa we were given smelled mouldy and musty when we checked in.
No one was there to check us in (or out) we were just sent a text msg with gate access codes. So far haven’t heard anything from the property after telling them we left at 9am the next morning.
The good reviews here don’t seem to add up and I suspect they have been bought or are fake.
Don’t waste your money on this place. You can get 5 star accom (we moved to Hotel Marvell which was incredible for near enough the same price)

Nice Hosts, very comfortable stay, When we had concerns, the team responded directly and sought solutions, and the communal kitchen/bbq was great for us
The wifi was unfortunately sometimes down (especially in the evenings).

the room guide said breakfast was included but there was nothing. we were charged for the minimum stay of 2 nights just for the one night. we had to accept this as local accommodation was limited due to the Bluesfest

It’s very pretty, close to town, comfortable and clean. The pool area was nice and relaxing to sit by as was the hanging chair outside our room.
Communication was great. Check in, check out was all easy.
Issue with the hot water, but it was eventually fixed.

No hot water for shower. Couldn’t turn up temp in spa (which verged on cold). Pool needs upgrade. Staff not very friendly. Photos give you false idea.

Perfect location and just a short 5min stroll the the city. So peaceful, quiet and facilities were constantly getting cleaned. Marcus the site manager was so lovely and accommodating, would highly recommend!!
It was perfect for the 2 of us, had everything you needed and not over populated like the resorts in Byron.

I felt like I was in Bali, the tropical gardens and central pool with the rooms looking into was lovely.
The mattress was hard. Netflix couldn’t load our movie.

Not very much actually, felt threatened and couldn't get out of there quick enough. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable but only one switch for both beside lights? Garage full of rubbish on arrival, apparently they had a big wedding event over the weekend but they did know they had new guests arriving, we didn't exactly surprise them!
Sadly when we went to park the car the car park was full of rubbish, which looked bad from our perspective, so we sent a message stating this. Then later that day we discovered the TV did not work, barely any internet service so the TV kept droppipng out. When we rang to let them know we were told we were 'whingers'!! This ended up even worse, we were then threatened by the owners/management which we reported to the police. Definately not the place for us to stay, cut our stay by 2 sleeps and will never recommend or return.

Very well maintained, feels like a villa in Bali. great location. The owner went out of his way to make our stay comfortable despite having some staffing issues.

Absolutely loved our stay! We felt like we were in a Bali villa. The rooms were nice, clean and fresh. Massive patio to chill on. The pool area was nice and relaxing. Cannot wait to come back 🥰

Room was nice and big and the overall vibe of the deck from the room leading to the outdoor pool/spa area made it feel like a holiday resort. Check in was also easy and the staff was nice.
We were staying mid week and it felt like there were only a few guests but can imagine it might not feel as tranquil in Summer with kids running around the pool as all the rooms are quite tight together.

Everything was lovely. The rooms the pool. Great location, about a 5 minute walk into town. Would stay again.
There was a little oversight that for some reason we were missing toilet paper in the room lol. But I messaged the staff and they got some to us that afternoon. but apart from that nothing really.

Beautiful villas surrounding a Balinese style pool. Comfy king bed, great air con/fans and it’s in a wonderfully convenient spot. Eden was so great, friendly and around for whatever we needed.
I think the communal kitchen area could have been updated and kept a bit nicer and perhaps having more seating space to sunbake but that’s is really clutching at straws to find something we didn’t like.
