El cuarto en el que estaba no tenía ventanas y era muy oscuro

Chambre sans fenêtre, odeur peu agréable, chaleur intense malgré un ventilateur fatigué.

The hostel is 1 min from the airport Nuquí and lays on the central street with tiendas and restaurantes. The beach is close by. The lady and the man at the front desk were nice and helpful; they suggested a lot of things to do in the area.

Eventhough the flat was everyday cleaned, it was really basic. The room had no window at it was really hot at night - even with the fan on. But that was all fine, since we only slept there. But what really bothered us is, that the owner was really unfriendly and charged more than the room acutally costed. We brought not enough money with us (there are no ATM and you can only pay in cash in Nuquí), we frist gave him our dollars (not enough) and when we finally got the rest of the money from western union, he wanted a higher exchange rate than the acutal rate was. And we also never got our exchange money back. The other thing is, since we got a lot of money over western union, we had a lot of cash in our flat. We are pretty certain, that someone stole from it. Not that much, but still.

Fresh Drinking Water re filed daily and Rooms cleaned everyday.

The hotel description on booking.com said Balcony, mosquito nets and ocean views. None of that is available in the hotel. The noise was a lot every morning early either the staff or builders.

The staff’s super nice and accommodating. They gave me tips and hired great tours and guides on my behalf.

The internet is quite spotty. But that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Very clean place with good internet connection.
