Pros: * Onsite beach gear is bountiful, but worn out. * We had a cookout with local family one day. The place entertains like a rockstar. * Trash service was great * Private beach was 6 star * Bird life is impressive * Location is simply a gem * Kitchen works very well. * Sense of privacy was fantastic. * Vintage Cape Cod, could use a bit of TLC. * Hope to return another day. Cons: * Should emphasize physical challenge of spiral staircase. We were fine, but we could see this being a surprise. * Decking & railings have seen their useful & safe life. * Noon checkout is a positive, however washing & folding of linens is tricky to complete, and unusual plus cleaning fee.

Large wonderful home with plenty of space and bathrooms for our large family. We loved the deck out back and the convenient walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The only negative is that my husband and I slept on the lower level on the murphy bed. The bed was comfortable enough but there was a strong moldy/ mildew smell down there and the area remained very warm despite running two fans around the clock.

Stayed here for a week from June 11-18, 2016. There were 7 adults (me, my wife and her family) and I was worried about whether there would be enough room for everyone. Not to worry at all as it turns out. The bedrooms were all large and the living areas were even bigger than we'd hoped for. The main living area has multiple couches, two cocktail tables and a dining table. The eat in kitchen has another full sized table that can seat 12 easily and at least 5 feet of room on all sides. There's so much room in the eat in area that there is another long table against the wall which worked well as temporary storage for various knick knacks. There are 3 large bedrooms upstairs including the master which has another room off of it containing a bunk bed. The bathrooms (4 full bathrooms!) were all clean and there was at least one on every level. In fact, there was so much room in this house that we never even used the lower level, where there is a large sitting area with a second fireplace and a TV. I've literally never rented a house where it was *too* big for us. The location is very convenient to the beach, being located only a few feet from the bike path. There is a scramble down some rocks which wouldn't be good for children, but if you take a left down the bike path and walk a few hundred feet there is a more accessible entrance that you can set yourself up in. The town is about equidistant from Woods Hole and Falmouth center, so driving to a restaurant is less than 10 minutes. The public beaches are even closer if you want to have a lifeguard, snack stand and bathrooms. The house had WiFi which worked like a charm, basic cable TV service and a TON of storage space. There was a bit of an issue with the garbage pickup when we got there (it hadn't been collected from the previous tenant) but a call to the owner got it cleared up within 4 hours. Incidentally, the garbage collection happens in a shed outside of the house so we weren't inconvenienced at all. My In-Laws, who have been renting in Falmouth for 20+ years, said this was the *best* house they've ever rented and would most definitely do it again next summer.

The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, utensils, and lots of serving bowls and platters. There is a two car garage that has bikes, "surf" boards, lawn chairs; everything you would want for the beach. The beach is just a block away and you can see the ocean from nearly every room in the house. Grocery shopping and lot of activities are nearby. The house was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this house to anyone, but especially a large family. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms made this so convenient and private for all of us.
