I recently planned an extended weekend getaway with my five sons and their girlfriends. It was my first time bringing my family to Fire Island and this house accommodated us perfectly in every way. We enjoyed game nights in the cozy family room and barbecues on the deck with nightcaps by the hot tub. Everything was a short walk away...beach, restaurants and markets, and it was so easy to get to the house from the ferry. We had a blast exploring nearby towns on all of the bikes provided as well. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels! Thank you so much to Robert and Sarah for sharing their warm and comfy home, and for being so great to work with through our planning. We would love to make this a place we come back to year after year.

Wow! We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Serendipity! The location of the house and the amenities at the house were perfect! What a great space to unwind and be with family and friends a block away from the beach and a short ride away from the shops and restaurants of Ocean Bay. Mr Duke was wonderfully helpful with information prior to our arrival and when we arrived, the home and amenities were just as listed. I cannot say enough good things about this house. Thank you Mr Duke for a wonderful stay!!

The house was perfect for our group. We had friends in other parts of Ocean Bay Park and the bikes were great for getting to them and beyond. Would totally recommend!

Such a Wonderful time, everything was there that we could possibly need. Very easy check in and check bc out. Close the the ferry and beach yet quiet and serene. The house was extremely clean. I will be going again next year.

Serendipity beauty
Perfect house for any length of stay. Convenient to everything; ferry, restaurants, most importantly the beach. Having beach towels and chairs available is great. The house was spotless. Many household items at your fingertips. Just bring your clothes and bathing suits. Communication with Sarah and Robert was superb. Look forward to staying at Serendipity next year and years to come.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Plenty of outdoor space to hang out, located close to the beach and store. Everything you need for a great beach weekend right there. It really just had it all! Great communication and very accomodating of our needs.

What an amazing experience renting at serendipity!!!! 1 block away from the beach. Amazing to have 10 bikes and plenty of chairs for the beach. Outdoor shower was lovely. We had an excellent rental experience. Would definitely recommend

What a week!

A must stay!
Serendipity is a beautiful well maintained home. Extremely clean well stocked an absolute pleasure to stay. My family of 5 enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and ferry. We walked to ocean beach and took many bike rides, ended our days in the awesome hot tub! This house has EVERYTHING you may need. The host was super quick with responses. No need to look anywhere else! Will definitely be back.

Annual stay at Serendipity
We have stayed at Roberts house two years in a row and give it a 5 star rating. The house has all the conveniences and cozy features of home. The location is perfect to the ferry, beach, market and hotel. Robert has plenty of bikes, chairs, toys and towels which makes packing that much easier. Robert is very easy to communicate with and responds to any inquiries as quick as possible. Looking forward to staying again next year!
