this is a great small getaway cottage. Everything you need for Cape vacation. Their kayaks are a nice extra. So many Cape beeches close by (and an incredible bakery a short walk).

We loved our time here at this clean and cozy Cape Cod getaway. Beautiful views and a friendly and very helpful host. I brought my 86 year old Dad with me and he had a great time too! The path down to the water was a little too treacherous for him ( no actual stairs or railing) but he loved sitting on the porch and looking out. I would definitely return. If you want what seems like an authentic Cape Cod cottage, come here- it’s great!

This is a cute, well-furnished summer cottage with a spectacular view of Drummer's Cove. Kayak access at high tide. I enjoyed my stay. A few things might make it even more great such as a more efficient A/C system, and some ant control.

Our time at the cottage was picture perfect. We enjoyed the birds and waterfront and convenience to Wellfleet's harbor and delicious dining. Thanks for a quiet, clean and charming stay.

We loved the deck and ate our meals out there. Close to town beaches and natl. Seashore. Cabin was comfortable and adorable. Beautiful view of the bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Loved having coffee on the deck each morning. Morning and evening views were magnificent.

We loved the location right off the tidal flat, it was very peaceful. The space was very good for the price, it feels a little more roomy than the photos suggest. Great to have a little patio, gas grill, hammock, adirondack chairs, and a well appointed kitchen for cooking. Overall very positive experience, would highly recommend for an affordable and comfortable option in the cape,.

Everything was cute and quaint. Great views. Coffee provided. All appliances worked. Close to May hikes and P-town. Sheets were soft with high thread count.Only problem was one of the twin beds was very uncomfortable. If two beds are high end comfortable mattresses the third one should be that too. It was a spring mattress that was very hard.

The cottage was charming and beautifully located on the cove. We really enjoyed watching the light change on the water and the many birds in the forest and feeding in the cove. The location made it easy to get to our favorite spots on the upper Cape for hiking, biking, dining, and ocean dips.

The cottage was as described. It is small but excellent for our stay.

We were grateful to find this property after our initial plans to vacation in Maine were cancelled due to Covid regulations. It was a cute cottage in a good, central location and having an air conditioner was a plus during a very hot week!BUT, I think is is important to also mention a few things. First regarding kayaking on the cove. We did not. We brought our own kayaks along. But, the trek down to the water is via a very steep embankment and then no clear pathway over the reeds to the waters edge, Also you would be limited to just about 1 hour before to 1 hour after high tide, or else you will be stranded. This made kayaking on site far more challenging than it was worth to us.Next, the cottage is actually part of a cluster of cottages that make up a condominium community, which is quite fine. BUT apparently, RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR DECK IS COMMUNITY SPACE. I was quite surprise our first morning there when I stepped out to the deck (in my pjs with no bra on) to take in the view, and two strangers were sitting in adirondack chairs next to the hammock reading the news paper. As it turns out, they own one of the properties. They were pleasant to talk to and shared some good information (about kayaking and getting stranded...). But is was still uncomfortable when we'd be sitting out on the deck, grilling and talking while these people were sitting 10 feet away from us.Lastly, upon arrival to the property, a truck came barreling in behind us. It was the cleaning people, who were behind schedule, so we had to wait another hour while they cleaned before we could get into the house. A bit disappointing since check in wasn't until 4:00 as is was.I hate to sound negative. With the exception of the property not being clean and ready for us, we could have overlooks the other issues if the listing was more up front about the common space and limitations around kayaking. But because it was not made clear, we felt somewhat mislead.(Whoops, one more thing - listing says there is an iron, but there wasn't one, so don't pack wrinkled clothes like my husband did!)

Over looking Drummer's Cove able to watch the ebb and flow of the tide. Cottage was neat, well laid out and infused with the smell of salt water. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable layout.

My family owned a house in Wellfleet on Mayo Beach for 34 years, which was sold in 2017. I searched for an affordable substitute for my trip "home" and found Drummer Cottages ...it was PERFECT! It is quaint, cozy, clean and the view is surreal. I immediately shared the link/info with other family members that are in the market for future Wellfleet vacation locations. I was sad that my trip was only only for a long weekend... I could have stayed for an eternity!

Loved every minute of it! (Even though it got a bit chilly in the evenings....)

Second year in a row at Cove Cottage. For us, an active, slightly older couple, the location could not be better. Right on Drummer Cove with a gorgeous view out to Blackfish Creek, we happily took out kayaks out for beautiful spins with the high tides. The Cottage is simple and basic, equipped with the necessities, cozy and comfortable, with an outdoor shower (with a view!), and a lovely master bedroom loft. Surrounded by nature, quiet, peace, tranquility, and the magic of Cape light and scenery.

Small and cozy. Just right for two people. We had amazing weather so spent much of the time checking out the area (close to all sorts of interesting vistas, beaches, National Seashore Visitor Center and the art galleries in Provincetown and Wellfleet). Savored one morning sitting on the deck, viewing the peace of drummer's cove, reading and sipping coffee.

Cottage was clean pleasantly decorated. View was spectacular and we loved watching the cove and all the birds. Highly recommend

Really bad. Not as advertised!!! No one even to call for over 24 hours! Still waiting for refund! Big rip off. Seriously.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cove Cottage. The simplicity and comfort of the cottage made for a most pleasant and relaxing week. The house is equipped with the essentials, including an outdoor shower and functional kitchenette. A great location in Wellfleet and a perfect spot for kayakers to paddle in Drummer Cove out to Blackfish Creek and beyond. The cottage is precisely as advertised and a wonderful little connection to nature. We look forward to returning next year!

This cottage is adorable. The covered deck looking out on the bay is just amazing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with kitchen goods as well as basics essentials like coffee and salt and sugar. I will definitely try to book this place again.

Had a great time at the cottage. Perfect size for a couple. Easily located right off route 6 and a short drive to all the Wellfleet beaches. Kitchen was stocked and ready to go. Grill was great. Kayaks were a lot of fun, but paying attention to the tide is necessary or you might get caught out. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet escape.
